Default Parents right to treatment law

Hi I remember reading a while ago about a right that parents can evoke to get treatment for their child at hospital? If they don't feel what has been done is right it's a child's name but I can't find it anywhere

Thank you, it's not for me but for my sister in law and my twin nieces, they are unwell but were sent home from hospital after 10 hours without getting anything done or any answers, Ryan's rule is only in qld though, nsw has a similar one they are in Victoria with nothing like that

That's no good. Yeah, no similar laws in Victoria.

If they are still worried, can they go to another hospital or another medical service?
