Well, I came on here to start a thread about "how does your child deal with their frustration when they don't get their own way" as DS has started running around banging his head on things (like the corner of the tv unit. Ouch) and hitting or throwing toys. I was so worried - I thought he had gone feral as everyone else i know just seemed to say that their kids just throw themselves on the floor during a tantrum. But I can see from this, it seems to be a fairly normal phase of being a toddler?
Good question Lesty - I sometimes feel like I spend most of my day saying "No Tom" and "Don't bang your head against the wall" etc and I get frustrated and upset because I don't feel like I am being the kind of mum I want to be, so I'll be looking for the replies on that one!

I am so happy I came across this thread because I swear I have the worst behaved kids in all of Victria most days which makes me fell so insecure and awful as a mother...today I took the kids to an indoor playground just to get a breather and I was actually really happy to see another child hitting another child and having a huge tanty...for once it was not mine wooohoooo
