My 8.5 mth old DD is more interested in standing on her legs than crawling too much at this stage.... she LOVES standing and can stand for a few minutes at a time on her own (hanging on to furniture).... but as for crawling.... well she can scoot around the floor on her tummy but she isn't near crawling yet.... tries to lift her bum then gives up pretty quick :lol: hehe
They all get there in the end..... whichever way :D
I love how my little girl isn't developing as fast as other babies when it comes to mobility because it means she's a baby for that little bit longer.... they grow up TOO fast :(
Also, I think some babies focus on their communication skills and language skills etc rather than mobility.... I know my DD is. She is brilliant at chatting and communicating and claps her hands, high-fives etc!!! lots of babies her age can't do that....
