weetbix (the kiddies one) with sultanas and sometimes chopped up dried apricot generally work for us ... after a battle getting DS1 to consistently eat brekkie, he's happily eaten this for the past couple of months (maybe longer). And DH and I have found the stogier the weebix mix, the easier it is for him to feed himself ;) Er, not that I let it get so stodgy it's yuck!
Brekky is the one meal that caused us pain! Good luck.

Oooh Nik I thought of something else my kids LOVE.
It's a bircher muesli type creation.
I soak oats overnight in water and in the morning add a grated apple and a couple of tablespoons of yoghurt (we love the Gippsland ones ATM), and banana/strawberry/blueberries or whatever - YUMM

You guys do porridge in the microwave? I have never thought of doing it that way!! I've always done it on the stove.

my DS2 has gone off cereals aswell, he has up N go and toast and for breakfast, i have checked and 2 yr olds can have up n go as long as it does not replace their milk intake,
