Wow - Some people have great eaters. What an great thread.
ZWell this is what Master J has had today.
1 Weetbix with 1/2 a banana and sultanas
I cheese andChicken loaf sadwich on Rye bread
Small tub of yoghurt
Small cup of about 10 grapes
A dairy free smoothie with 1/2 a mango, splash of orange juice, and a few strawberries and a scoop of mango sorbet. (oh and laced with a multivitamin)
1/2 a cinimon donut
Dinner to come. Will be serving veggie mash with sausage, but I doubt he will eat it. Won't have a bar of veggies. I am going to try and hide them with a bit of gravy.
Ok success with dinner.
J ate mashed vegetables and half a sausage hidden amongst gravy. Had to spoon feed him (as usual for dinner) but hey got it in to him!
1 Pear
another donut
Nelle - dairy free ice cream - Try sorbet's
rach, yer jay wont eat much fruit either, i buy tinned peaches/pears/apricots, and he will eat them but thats about it, not as good as fresh but hey its better than nothing :p
Yeah, those Raffety's purees are great. We call them squeezies and DD loves them because she can kick back and suck on it kind of like a bottle. And no additives! Only fruit and veg - gotta be happy with that!
oh ok Mel will have a look next time we are near a decent supermarket closest woolworths is 64kms away LOL
jess he used to eat tinned fruit but now nup....
Rach - if you can't find any - let me know and I'll pick you up some when I go shopping next and whack them in the post for ya.

considering he is getting over gastro. some toast with vegemite, some hot cross bun. for lunch he has nutella sandwhichs.
Well today I was a little naughty and went to macca's for lunch.
So today, J has had
1 weetbix with 1/2 banana
handful of grapes
A couple of strawberries
3 chicken nuggets
A few of my chips
Bag of apples
Any advice on how to get him to eat more veggies?
meg have you tired the vegie fingers similair to fish fingers but mad eof vegies, or you could make you own shape them liek chicken nuggets, will hea eat pancake perhaps make vegie pancake/fritters
HTH
Yeah I have tried the veggie nuggets. When he realises there are peas in there he won't eat it!
Pancakes are a good idea though.
He also loves salmon patties so I chock them full of vegetables.
Thanks for the advice
Meg - I have a super fussy son so I am fast becoming the queen of hidden vegetables. I made up a big batch of every vegie imaginable, cook it in stock then puree it and freeze in ice cube trays in the freezer. This gets added to everything - mashed potato, casserole etc. He actually loves it by itself. The other night we had chicken parma's for tea but instead of the tomato stuff on DS's, I used the vegie puree and he scoffed it. I make up chicken rissoles and put lots of vegies in - same as the salmon patties. I also make muffins and put grated carrot and zucchini in them. DS will also eat vegies if they have been crumbed - like crumbed carrot sticks - but I don't do this often. There is a book around called "Deceptively Delicious" about making healthy food that they won't even realise has good stuff in it!
What a great idea for a thread Arimeh
DS has a double ear infection so is a bit off food but here is what he has had so far.
English muffin with vegemite
Half banana
Kids rice bar
1/2 pear and some rockmellon
Vegemite sandwich
Slice of tomato
Grated cheese
Arrowroot biscuit
Handful of grapes
Dinner is chicken kiev with veges and wedges.
Heaps of water, but he is off his milk given that he is sick.
My DD eats like a pig, so probably not great for comparison to grazers! She'll be 3 next month.
Today she's had:
2 Weetbix with milk and a slice of wholemeal toast with honey/jam for breakfast (plus a bit of mine). Crusts get left behind.
A medium-sized bunch of grapes.
A ham sandwich with cheese, avocado, tomato and lettuce for lunch. A homemade biscuit afterwards (we ran out of yoghurt).
An icy-pole.
Will have some fruit shortly. Probably a small apple.
Dinner will be smaller portion of whatever we have. Tonight I'm making roast lamb with roast vegies. DD will eat all of the vegies and a bit of the meat.
Yoghurt or custard or icecream for dessert in a small tupperware container.
She also has a bf in the morning (missed this morning's though) and one b4 bed.
My DD has had:
Frozen peas and corn (she eats that all day if shou could)
Raisin toast
Cheese stick
Biscuit with homus dip
more frozen peas and corn
sweat potatoe and lamb (Rafferteys)...was feeling lazy for lunch!
and a bit of kabana
....did I mention more frozen peas and corn?
OOh I just noticed she hasnt had fruit today (as the wiggles sing fruit salad, yummy yummy)....I'm off to make some yummy fruit platter!
2 bottles of milk
water
and tonight I am cooking chicken cordon bleau....with mash potatoes and you guessed it....PEAS and CORN!
