PP stuff is awesome for longevity!! - DD has a skirt too (0-3 mths) that is only just now starting to not fit over her belly

DS was 7 days late, 8lb 7oz (3820g) and 52cm (I think). We had only bought 000, and that swam on him. The few 0000 we had didn't fit very long. The Kmart, target wondersuits and the ones you can get from coles... we had 000, but they were massive, so they fitted him for a long time.
This time round, I have some 0000, just in case :) My real dilemma is how hot it's going to be here, and what I'm going to need for an end-of-summer baby...
Our DD was 10lb4oz, or 4.6kgs and was straight into 000s. That said though, we did have newborn outfits from Pumpkin Patch that fit her for about a month. And whilst all the jumpsuits she wore were 000, most of the singlets were 0000.
Thanks so much for the replies ladies. Reading all your bubba's birth weight I think we really lucky with DS being born at 2575g @32 weeks. The Dr's always use to tell us he was a big boy but being our first we had nothing to compare it to.
I'm not sure though that my hospital is providing gowns/suits for the time of stay, it says to take about 4 suits and 6 singlets, socks, beanies everything. Will just have a pack a few of both 0000 and 000 and maybe just DP to bring in the extras once she is born.
sconeonamission, the weather here is also all over the place, its been cold and raining non stop for almost 2 weeks, except today, its almost 30degrees. Layers I think will be the answer :)
