Hey Jan, have you thought about getting a monitor that comes with sensor pads? We've got one for Izzy (she sleeps much better in her own room than she did in ours, and to be honest so do I!) and they're brilliant - give me peace of mind that she's ok even though I can't hear her.
Sorry to hijack your post SRV. I moved Izzy out of her cradle and into her cot at about 6 weeks - she slept better and with her reflux I could elevate the cot better than I can the cradle.

We just moved Jake into his own room and into his cot about 4 days ago and he is 10 weeks old. I must say though that I have been sleeping in the single bed in his room. There are 3 rooms between our room and his so I feel like he is too far away yet.
