Sorry, was just a bit confused the way you worded it.
I really dislike the new child restraint rules as it takes any intelligent thought out of the parents hands, and makes me feel bad about having big kids. I have a very tall and heavy just turned 2 year old who should be able to go into a booster according to the height/weight rules, and will definitely be too tall for his convertible child seat in 6 months time. If he is the like DS1, which he is so far, he will be around 17kg and 100cm tall at 2 1/2. I have no room in my car for the bigger toddler seat models as I will need 3 seats in the back and they are all at least 5 cm wider than the narrower convertible seats and boosters. So he will be going into a booster once the new baby grows out of the capsule I am borrowing whether he is old enough or not. It is driving me batty!
