Has anyone actually had the swine flu vaccine? (or their kids)

I read in the paper today that doctors at Melbourne's Austin Hospital have discovered a link between people with low levels of immu-globulin 2 (I think that's what they called it) are very succeptible to falling very ill if they contract H1N1. They discovered that pregnant women all seem to have lowered levels of it which is why if a pregnant women contracts it she will most likely get a lot sicker than a non pregnant woman. Very interesting.

I have had the vaccine with no ill effects.

i had the vac yest and feel perfectly normal, and also had my 12 week scan today. bub is all good!

After doing quite a bit of research & talking to medical profession I had the vaccine as I am pregnant and as an asthmatic very susceptible to bad chest infections/responsse. I will get the new seasonal flu shot when it comes out in a couple of months.
I had no reaction to the shot.
I think It comes down to balancing or calculating the risks either way & making a personal decision for you, your family & community.
