Not really helpful but I find it funny that my DD tries to see what it is she's touching but she leans forwards too far & topples over and she still can't see because she's such a porker lol! She hasn't tried to put anything in there though. I will have to watch her, I think!
I like Rivlas's idea of putting undies on her during nappy free time.
With DD1 we used to play a game of "Hands up in the air" to try and keep them out of her nappy and associated regions. She eventually grew out of it but it was pretty funny.
DD1 did that for ages. I can remember she put a fork in her vagina once so I just kept telling her it's hers and she needs to be careful with it. DD2 recently put a dummy in there and ran around the lounge, it took a lot not to laugh. I just maintain the word gentle and don't make her feel bad for touching her vagina.
