    HCF health fund?

Ok looking at swapping from MBP to HCF as they seem to have better allowance for things such as orthodontic, dental, etc.
Anyone have any experience with HCF and what they are like to deal with, rebates etc
    thanks in advance

We are with HCF, and it's been fine. No dramas with things. Main issue is that the don't have many face to face locations so I find myself waiting before claiming and taking a bunch in, cause I'm too lazy to do things online they covered all my hospital stays etc for IVF without any dramas.

We have basic extras and hospital cover with HCF. We haven't used it as much as we could but last year DH needed physio for about 5 weeks and we only got a good rebate after the first session and then we didn't really get much back for the other sessions.

I don't know if this is what its like with other health funds. In saying that though, we only have basic extras.

Dental is quite good. They have HCF dental and eye centres where you can go as well and all the paperwork is done there so you don't need to go in to a branch to claim rebates.

I haven't had an issue with any of our claims and the last two years we have really used it!!

I have been with them for about 5 years. Hospital and extras. Haven't had issues, have mainly used for dental and chiropractor. Also I can claim my children's swimming lessons. Capped at $300 for the year.
