4wks of hospitalisation for pre-eclampsia prior to induction
2 doses of gel to try and get labour started

1 registrar up to his wrist in my vagina trying to get the gel out to stop the contractions whilst another registrar jammed two injections of some other drug in my leg to try and stop the labour they had just artificially started
1 anasthetist who was bl&*dy marvellous and got the spinal in first go, otherwise it would have been a general
1 neonatal specialist, 3 midwives, god knows how many nurses, 2 registrars (one with "L" plates) heaps of other people....

Registrar on duty offered me another week of waiting, or a c/s the following morning
XH decided, without consulting me, on a c/s the next day
Classified "elective" c/s but didn't really have an option because of the p/e

1 anaesthetist who took 2 goes to get the spinal in
