Awww thanks everybody :) just quickly popping in on my post birth high :leap:
Daisy is 2520 gms, 47cms long. Labour started as soon as I woke up at 6:15 am. I was waiting for dh to get here and he was stuck in traffic, but my MIL was here. She called 000 and they talked her through the delivery. The ambulance got here about 10 minutes after Daisy was born.
I'm not 100 % sure why I ended up in the backyard, or why going inside seemed like such a bad idea, but at the time it was perfectly rational ;) We had a quick visit to the hossie for observations, but are comfortably home again now. I'll post my birth story as soon as I get a chance- as far as unplanned freebirthing goes, it's a good one :)
Thanks again for your well wishes everyone
ETA- Maya- we live in preety built up area, with a full view of everyone's backyards from the second storey of any house. I can only imagine what my neighbours must have heard and seen
Oh wow! Congratulations!!
