Whoa - thems some serious goings on honey. Bloody ambos - I'll sort 'em out for you (my dad's an ambo - I must be the only person in the world who got taken home in an ambulance after having wisdom teeth out. Seriously. Didn't get the sirens either...).
I had some interesting times myself getting feeding established what with Euan being in special care and me being all tubed up, so I can relate to that feeling of despondency and the fear that one thing will lead to another - it will get there, just trust that you and little Silas will get your feeding groove happening soon!!

BF'ing is hard enough without the pain of a tissued bung (OUCH!) and lines going everywhere! You must be exhausted with all the blood loss as well as sleep deprivation. I'm feeling for ya. Wishing you a speedy recovery love.

Hehe, I asked dad on Sunday if you'd popped yet and he didnt' know then Jula ran up the driveway and said 'guess who had a baby!!'. So exciting but then I spent the rest of my day worrying about you! And 'Silas' is just perfect.....I love that it means 'Forest' (or something forest related anyway! Plus Silas from the NT) too...hehehe. You guys are just too clever with your names!
What a crazy time you've all had. I love that you felt a head and cheered up! Not too many women can say that during labour (let alone a speed-demon labour!). So has Rans baggsed all future baby catching?!! He must have been on such an adrenalin high! I'd love to hear his side of the story (hint hint Rans!).
Praise God you're all ok :) Praying feeding gets sorted soon and you adjust to life looking after three guys!
Oh, and I hear slurpies are GREAT when you've lost a lot of blood (second only to transfusions!).
