Gigi, I was thinking about having a doula but procrastination won over and I never got organised with one. I had my DH who was absolutely wonderful, doing and saying all the right things and two lovely midwives (well I got a bit grumpy at one of them when she told me to stop yelling! LOL), but the other one was great guiding me through especially when I was pushing.:

Lovely choice of name too - its one of my favourite girl's names (as is your son's name too- announcement to come soon;))
And once again to have your baby on a significant day...your son on Mothers Day and now your daughter on New Years Day...sure makes it easier for others to remember...lol!
