Dance little :angel: Leo, show your mummy and daddy that the world will show its beauty once again and that they can get through this sad, dark time. You will be very much missed and loved by them and lots of others.

Thank you all for your kind and loving words. The BB community really is wonderful.
Some time soon I’ll try and write a birth story for our gorgeous son Leo James. I think it will help make it real. At the moment, we find it hard to believe this has really happened. Coming home yesterday and leaving our beautiful son behind was the worst day of our lives.
No one knows why it all went wrong. We hope to get some answers eventually. It seems despite his very strong heartbeat, which was monitored continuously, and the fact that I could feel him kicking as he made his way out with his little bum first, Leo could not breathe, even with the sustained efforts of a huge medical team. Most of the speculation so far has been about a congenital defect. All I know is Leo may have only lived for 18 minutes on earth, but he’ll be with us forever.
We have the joy of having loved and cudded him close and the devastating grief of losing him. We have our memories, photos, prints of his long feet and hands, locks of his soft hair and an enormous love in our hearts for our little boy and for each other.
Thank you all again for your support.

I launched a balloon via a FB application in memory of Leo.... I hope it flies around the world and keeps dear Leo in everyones thoughts.

Tash - words cannot say how sad it is that your son Leo is not with you any longer. I can imagine how difficult it would have been coming home without him. I wish that all of us here at BB could give you a huge hug and help you with your grief and sorrow. I am thinking of Leo and your family. If you feel that you ever need additional support, please don't hesitate to talk to a therapist about how you are feeling. I'm not sure if you are religious but I imagine Leo being carried on the backs of angels wings.

Tashybabe, I don't know you personally, but I think that I can say that there isn't one BB member on here that isn't thinking of you and sending the kindest hugs and thoughts your way. Leo will be looking down upon you forever, making sure his very special mummy and daddy are loved and taken care of.
Tash - words do not, and can not express, so I send you love, and strength, and the knowledge that many are with you as you celebrate the too short life of, and mourn the loss of your beautiful son Leo.
