uh oh! poor woman would have had that unbearable regrowth itch to deal with as well as the pain from the surgery! I hope the midwife clarified the issue for future mums-to-be.

I had my last wax when I was about 6 months PG (I just like being waxed anyway... hate shaving) but after my 6 month wax I just let it go haha I think because I couldnt see down there I never thought to get it done again, so I think it was all there when it came to giving birth. I dont think anyone seriously thinks about what it looks like down there while they're giving birth though, I always thought I would be really embarrassed being in that position with strangers looking / touching but when it came to it I just didnt care... I knew they were there for a reason & knew what they were doing so I just went with the flow.
I dont think I'll be waxing the next time either...
I shaved my legs and did a tidy up (well as much as you can at 9 months and round as a beach ball and can't see your toes let alone the hairy bits!!)
I must admit that after the third internal (gel inserted twice and then waters broken) I really didn't care what they looked like.....and even now, after my recent d&c (which my bits were hairy than an old english sheepdog!!!!) I could care less.
We grow hair there for a reason, so just let it be! LOL
I've never had my waahoo shaved and dont think i want to although the thought had crossed my mind that, 'omg....i'll be exposed to EVERYONE' who's going to be on the 'catching' team. so i thought, it's better to have some hair so cover up than bare it all plus, hubby prefers it this way.
i trimmed myself abt 3 weeks ago n i was already huffing n puffing. can't imagine trying to do the same at 38 or 40 weeks!!! so i'll just leave my secret garden to grow. :D
