I was expecting to go close or over with DD1 but she came at 36+2 and DD2 came at 35+6 hoping this one comes no earleir than 36 weeks. Not sure what Ill do this time if I go past 37 weeks think Ill be shocked as Ive never been that pregnant before lol
I can't go off mine, since both were induced, but my brothers and I were all earlier than our due dates. I was about 10 days, Brother 1 was 6 weeks, and Brother 2 was 12 days early.
My first was 10 days over and they kept getting earlier and earlier and my last bub was born 15 weeks early.
I know you asked for early stories, but we aren't all that lucky. I went 13 days over with my first, and 11 days over with my second.
My dd came a week early & I kept saying she was going to come early up until the week before it happened! I went to a music concert on the Wed night then the next day spent 4 hrs racing around Christmas shopping then we dtd that night and was awake all night then my waters broke the next morning!
DS was born at 37+3. From the very start of my pregnancy, I had a feeling I'd go early, and because I had GD, I was very relieved because I wanted to avoid an induction.
I thought my son was going to be overdue, as I was overdue by two weeks myself. So I was astonished when my waters broke and I went into spontaneous labour at 37w4d, lol. Even early he was a biggish baby at 8lb10oz.
My daughter wanted to out-do her brother, so she held on an extra day and I went into spontaneous labour at 37w5d hehe. She was another biggish baby at 8lb3oz.
I can't imagine that things will be much different with this baby either :)
My first was born at 38 weeks which was great as he was due on Christmas eve.
My second however was a hanger on, he was born at 41 weeks. I never expected to go over with him as my first was early.

My DS was born two weeks early at 38 weeks. Everyone told me I'd go late and it took me by surprise. Be prepared you never know :) I wasn't!

My first child was born at 37 weeks. My next children were born at 40+4 and 40wks.
DS was born at 36 + 4 according to hospital records. My dates put him at 38 + 2

DD was born at 39 weeks. I always thought (or maybe it was hoped??) that I would go early. I think it's because I was 4 weeks early, and my brother 6 weeks (my sis was on time though). I was wishing DD out from the time I reached 37 weeks lol
My first was born 4 weeks early, waters broke spontaneously, induced and eventually emergency csection. She was a monster at 8lb2 considering she was so early! I always 'knew' she would be early as she measured so far ahead and I had an enormous amount of excess fluid (polyhydramnios).
This time I don't have that 'feeling' but I won't go past 39 weeks as I'm a scheduled caesar.
DD was born at 38+5. Labour was spontaneous which started with an hour or so of mild contractions 10 minutes apart (which I slept through, thought it was more prelabour) then my waters broke. She was tiny - 6lb 8oz
I'll pop back in and put the details of this baby. I've had a feeling about 37 weeks but that could be just wishful thinking! :lol:
My sisters boys were both born in the 38th week and were both just smaller than 7lb
A close friend is currently a week overdue with her second baby and is booked for an induction on Wednesday. Her first arrived spontaneously in her 39th week.
our twins who were our first and second I had at 30 weeks. I had a feeling they would be that early, and was telling everyone at work that I was going to have them anyday just before I finished work. I had no indication until I went into labour that they would be early. Finished work on the Thursday night, had my hair, dentist and wax and feet done on the friday and then went into labour on the Sat!!!
With DS2- I thought he would come a couple of weeks early - even mentioned it to my belly buddies and sure enough I had him at 37 +5. I was determined to get the kids back to school after the big school hols. So of course first day of school at 8.50am i got my first cx!!! Had him that day even before the kids had finished their first day back at school lol.
