Water's broke at 9.30pm, contractions started shortly after.....26hrs later DD was born :)
DD1 - Prelabour of consistent contractions from early Friday morning. Painful contractions that were 10 mins apart started at 4am on Sunday, had a show at 9am on Monday and had AROM about 2pm, epidural at 5.30pm and DD1 was born 8pm. Loooong exhausting, painful labour with a baby that was posterior.
DS - I was induced at 38 weeks - took 3 days to work and that is a whole other story.
DD2 - Prelabour for 2 weeks. Booked for a c/section at 38 weeks due to baby being footling breech. Woke up at 2.45am on the morning of my c/section with first contraction. Wasn't sure it was labour. Sat on couch for the next 20 mins trying to work out if it was true labour. Two more painful contraction in that time. Decided to have a shower to see if they went away. Contractions got worse in shower. Arrived at hospital 45 mins after my first contraction to find I was 9cm dilated. Labour was stopped and emergency c/section carried out.
This baby - prelabour since 33 weeks. Currently 37 weeks and no idea when he is planning to make his appearance but it better not be in the middle of a cyclone.
