What a wonderful birth story Teagz... WELL DONE hun!
Hi Teagz, congratulations on the safe birth of Jackson, such a great story, written in pure 'Teagz' style, you make me laugh! I am sure it is your great outlook & attitude to life that helped you achieve such a great birth. I am really pleased for you. Enjoy this precious time with Jackson.
Yep agreed...that was a great Birth Story. I had a 'fairy tale induction' too....although I wasn't blessed with the slow start!!
You did a fab job and now check out the reward.....Labour of Love...Best Ever!! :)
I'm glad it read well! I thought it might have been abit all over the place because I was trying to entertain the little guy at the same time!
thanks for your lovely words, girls! xx
Congratulations and what a fantastic birth story. I too am in Bunbury and reckon the Midwives at SJOGH are just the best!
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and well written birth story! Congratulations and welcome Jackson Riley - a lovely name :)
Just gorgeous! What a brilliant way to enter the world :)
Thanks for sharing :)
That's a fantastic story, well done!!!!
No drugs being induced - good on you!
Congrats!
What a fabulous story, I am so happy for you, that the induction went smoothly and the complete utter joy you must have felt holding your precious little boy
Thankyou for sharing xxoo
As a woman on the verge of being induced, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful story. There are a lot of horror induction stories out there - and I really appreciate your honest and non-scary tale.
Thanks!
Aaah the memories... this little gremlin has just turned 2. Time flies when you're bolting after a toddler!
Helle which SJOG did you birth at if you don't mind me asking? What a gentle beautiful story. We need a thread on positive inductions in this story methinks. In many ways inductions are now more feared that caesarians.
Fantastic birth story! And happy 2nd birthday to your little man!
Ladylove, saint John of gods in Bunbury. I have just had our second bub there and had another great experience. Love that hospital! It's the reason I get my back up when people start to poo poo going private. SJOG craps all over the public hospital where I am.
Yeah I thought you were in WA. I'm due on Feb 10 and will be birthing at SJOG Subiaco. I'm like you with the Subi one- so far anyway. The midwives have been amazingly supportive and are pro low or no intervention and I'm lucky to have an OB who is also really easy going. It helps that (touch wood) I've had a low risk easy pregnancy thus far but as a first timer every bit of support helps!
Likewise for me. I've birthed twice now at SJOG Subi and couldn't say enough good things. Also had the fairtale induction too. LL - you'll do great at Subi. Midwives on the delivery ward are just fantastic.
I loved your birth story Halle. Haven't seen one for your new princess but hope it was just as good.
Thanks Lulu. I booked in there solely on the reccomendations of friends who couldn't say enough good things about the midwives and despite private hospitals having a bad reputation regarding active and natural births so far I've been so impressed by SJOG's progressive thinking. :)
Anyway enough from me; this is Helle's special thread :)
