Breastfeeding Singlets for big booobies ???

I long since gave up on finding decent breastfeeding clothes if you have 'epic' boobies :)

I took to wearing high waisted jeans (holds the tummy in too) and a a normal length top 1 size too big (ie, big enough for the boobs and 3 sizes too big for the rest of you) and a shirt/cardigan/jacket over the top. By the time you lift the ordinary top and still have the front-opening top there but half open, there's no skin for anyone to see.

Works best in cold climates though. Funny thing is, I know I breastfed all summer but I can't for the life of me think what I was wearing, I suspect I was living in loose tshirts and just lifting them up. I did get my mother to make me some tshirts with a wrap front, and I had a breastfeeding top for 'special' that was empire line with quite a tight underbust elastic thing so it looked half decent.

Considering how many people get mammoth boobies, I'm surprised there's so little good stuff out there to wear. I guess people in this country don't breastfeed long enough to make it a big enough market.

Just to clarify, your wanting singlets without a shelf bra? Do you mean like spaghetti strap singlets or thicker straps? And how did they unclip? like a maternity bra or have like a flap that goes over the boob from underneath, and one that goes from above that you can separate? (ITMS? lol)
I'm a 16H so I feel your pain MASSIVELY! I'm sick of trying to find nice BF tops and clothes and when I do theyre like $40-$50-$60+ for one top!!

Seriously considering making my own business and making my own BF tops for mums :/

Given the size of the market (as in, small), if you could run an Etsy store with a couple of pre-made ones in each size and an option to supply your measurements, you'd be doing your bit to help big-boobed women around the world!

Its even worse if you are small with big boobs. I was a 10G and really the best you can do is buy size 12-14 clothes even though the rest of you is a size 8. God that makes you look fat when you dress like that :(

I was thinking of doing a FB type thing. I have no idea lol. Not only for the big boobied mummas, but also for normal mums too. Though the big boobs are my main focus cuz I am one and I'm sick of paying so much for clothes! Lol..

Etsy is one of those communal shop sites (sort of like ebay) but for handmade (as opposed to mass-produced) things, you set up your own store and off you go. Amazing variety of things you can buy on there.

Hope, you made me laugh. I was a 12DD and 12D when searching for bf-ing clothing, and i often found tops that were closer to the $100 mark! so when i found ones (that actually worked) for under 50, (like Nuvo Maternity) i was rapt. (and that was STILL alot of money, for one top, for me to fork out for).

As someone above wrote, there are many bf-ing mums with bigger bra sizes, so i do think there is an untapped market size wise.

I love love love the bub2b maternity singlets with the shaped bra front in them I'm at least a DD & have found these sooo comfy & supportive. Sorry DC doesn't help you but for anyone else, highly recommend :)
