First of all dont feel guilty.
I breastfed my first son for 2 weeks before I added formula as well.
At six weeks he got oral thrush, then gave it to me. Pain!!
I decided to give it up then, he thrived on formula.
When I was pregnant with my now 9 month old son I decided not to breastfeed him.
Got mixed reactions, but stood firm and stuck to my guns.
From birth he has had formula and is growing just fine.
Hospital didn't push me or give me hard time.
make your own choice and do what is the best for you. YOU are the one who has to live with it. Babies DO thrive on formula.
