What an awesome job you've done bfing your LO.
It will undoubtedly inspire other mums to continue when they face difficulties. I had mastitis so often with DD1 that my GP gave me a script to keep at home. With #2 I only had one bout, and that was mild. So hopefully this will not be something you have to go through again!

Love this post! I think everyone should read this to understand why breastfeeding mothers are passionate about feeding their babies.
I have persistent reoccuring thrush in my nipples and haven't eaten sugar or wheat in 20 months to control the symptoms. I have fed through cracked bleeding nipples for weeks at a time, mastitis, reoccuring blocked ducts and through illness. To tell me to stop feeding my baby because it is weird to some is to negate all I have endured to give my child the best start in life.
Breastfeeding matters to some of us, and I think this week we have seen that. I'm not telling anyone else to make breastfeeding a priority, only respect that it is a priority for many of us.
You're amazing little_o. I remember your posts and I'm so glad you've had some good feeding times...ther are plenty more to come! You're an inspiration!

Thanks Arcadia! You all helped me much, and I really want mums to see it is possible to get through sometimes the worst of situations.
We just have to fight for it, sometimes against our own bodies. Sometimes we can't win, but we at least know we gave it our all.
