I'm off to get the ingredients tomorrow!

Did we work out if it was Plain flour or Self Raising flour? Someone said they just used plain flour with baking soda... I'd have no idea what ratio to use...

You know what? I think it might just be plain flour - coz I just went and looked at the recipe again and it tells you baking soda

I use both! As in whatever I have in the cupboard at the time The SR flour gives really high cookies that are very scrummy!

The raw batter is delicious! I made these yesterday, so far no change. Ah well, they taste good. BUT they are adding to my already generous butt!

I told dh I was going to make lactation cookies and assumed it was made on breastmilk. I told him I could do that if he wanted. Either way, he's not eating them! More for me!

The health food shop said flaxseed was linseed (or something).... hope she's right.

Would it hurt to start on these now before the babies are here? I keep looking at the recipe and they sound so good!!

I was going to ask... can you eat them while pregnant? Like at the end.. to hope boost things up in the early days? Oh that sounds like a dumb question

As long as you are aware the mix, uncooked, has raw egg. But the cookies... go for it!
