CS scar tissue - How do I find out what mine is like?
I have had 4 CS's all up, the last was 2 years ago. After my first 3 my scar tissue looked good. My last CS was at a different hospital and they made a larger scar due to scar tissue but didn't express any concern that I recall, I discharged myself 24hours after the birth.
How can I find out what my scar tissue is like? Contact the hospital or my GP for my notes on the last birth maybe?
Re: CS scar tissue - How do I find out what mine is like?
It may be really difficult to find out 2years later. I assume you want to know what the scarring is like inside not on the outside? If the scar was very thin with your last baby I am sure they should have told you and warned of the risks of any future pregnancies. If you don't know I'd think there was nothing terribly significant found with your last bub. Your old theatre notes may have something written in the operating report.
