Good luck for the 5th - I'm sure everything will go well and c/s will not be half as bad as many people may lead you to believe.
Good luck tomorrow, how exciting, you get to meet your bub! Can't wait for the BA. ;)
its today, too excited, cant sleep, have to be at the hospital by 7am
Hahaha! TRY to sleep Sakoon, even rest a bit! Either way, I hope you enjoy your special last moments, before your life changes forever in an amazing way. Wishing you all the best for tomorrow, look forward to hearing your news.
Wow just found this thread..You will obviously be at the hospital by now!!! Wishing you a wonderful birthing experience!!
Sakoon, I don't have any advice for you. And you're probably in the hospital now anyway. It sound slike you have done everything in your power to have the birth experience you wanted. It does seem unfair that some women are denied their ideal birth, despite their best efforts. But please know that you have done a wonderful job so far. Your baby is very lucky to have a mother like you. Don't beat yourself up over it.
I can understand the way you feel, though. I had a very straight forward, beautiful all natural water birth with DD. I am now 23 weeks pregnant with my second. I have been told the placenta is very very close to the cervix (even closer than last time, and last time it was just inside their comfort zone). So I'll have to have another u/s at 33 weeks. The thought that placenta praevia could prevent me from having another vaginal birth does really upset me. So I try not to think about it. I hope that the placenta will grow away from the cervix as the pregnancy progresses. But I would be lying if I said that the thought of a c/s didn't upset me. Yes, a healthy mummy and baby is the main thing. but it's not THE ONLY thing thaat counts. Yes, I have been very lucky to have had such a prefect birth the first time around, but now that I know that I can do it, it would be such a pain if something like this stopped me from doing what I am meant to do...
Anyway, I wish you all the best with your c/s. I hope you can overcome your negative feelings about it. Please do not feel like a failure. There are many things with pregnancy and birth that we just have no control over. We can give ourselves the best possible chance, but ultimately, it is out of our hands. You have done everything in your power. I hope you can find some pride in that.
