Shanti - Yes. I had a classical cut c section last time which increases the risk of rupture. I have done research and posted a thread on here and another premmie forum. If I didn't have a classical I would aim for a VBAC definitely, but the thought of losing my baby and my uterus is terrifying. If i wanted to try a VBAC it would have to be a home birth, as I know my OB wont support a VBAC and I haven't heard of any that do with a classical. I would be too scared to HB with my cardiac history, let alone my obstetric history.. Anyway, what are you still doing here? Bubba is comfy hey? lol :)
Hey blessed I will try to find you a great link on women centered c/s that I know off. Also a friend of mine who has to have c/s due to big fibroids on her cervix recently had twins by c/s, last week. She had great things in her plan like having her own cardiac monitor on her back so it didn't interfer with when her babies were put on her chest and having sats probes on her toes instead of her fingers. There are some really great things you can plan if you want to. Also think about having a baby plan. So you decide what you are and arnt happy to have happen to bubba if you do get separated and who goes with baby and who stays with you. Will try to get you that link babe.
unfortunally every ceaserian i have had the priveledge of watching and assisting forceps have been used!
Maybe speak to your OB or Middy and ask if possible they not be used unless necessary?? :dunno:
Thanks Bella, that would be great.
HJ - I will definitely ask the OB.
