I was wondering if you'd ordinarily (pre abbot gov) get it back paid at tax time. We overestimate so I just miss out on ftb a and ftb b but when tax time comes we may just be under the cut off and have been eligible all along. Would you get it in that instance?
Yes. If you would have been entitled you will still get it with a lump sum claim
Well it's not like you didn't know this expense would come. I really don't get the whinging. I honestly don't. It never ceases to surprise me how many people just don't prepare for situations like this when the Govt could decide to take away a BONUS payment. The Govt is BROKE! I would be surprised if the Labor govt even kept it because of the amount of money it costs them. I do understand how hard and how expensive it is to buy uniforms for 4 kids - I've had to do it too but you deal with it.:
