Kim - your DH, if he earned under 100k, will get one of the payments - over 100k - he'll get nothing:
for you having no income, you won't receive any of the second round of payments - just the FTBB payment in the next 10 days
all payments will be received with your normal FTBB payment unless your ftb payment arrives today or tomorrow - in which case it will be delivered on Wednesday as it takes two days to process and the system was updated on the weekend to pay the stim payments this fortnight

Just wondering if anyone know the dates for when the ato working ppl payments are expected to come through?? I heard it isn't until april and that there is no official date yet..is that right??
the only date i can vaguely recall is that they'll start being processed somewhere around April 9 - but basically, they will be processed over the month of April
if you need to update details with ATO - it needs to be done by the end of this week i believe (letter from accountant with exact date is in the car so can't confirm)
Ours is showing today as being paid on wednesday - our usual FTB day YAY!!!
From what I have read in the newspapers, the date they are meant to start getting handed out is April 6 or April 9. I am assuming it's later on because families receiving the payment for being single income are already on FAO's system and details are updated regularly or as they occur, so there is less chasing up to be done, but the Tax Office only knows what it was told when you did your last tax return, so your bank account details, address, and income details may have changed since then so everything has to be sorted before they can give you the payment (for example, you may have been on $75k a year until recently and then gotten a job earning $85k so you would be entitled to less, ATO has to sort through everyone's stuff and figure out who is eligible for what).:

they're spreading the payments out due to ease of processing - ftbb and school age children with parents on ftba are easy cos it's all on the system already...

According to online services, my next FTB payment is due next Monday 16th March. But it just says normalamount.

either you're not getting ftbb as you've estimated above the thresholds (as per your estimate on feb 3) or it hasn't been processed yet. as you know, payments only get processed a couple of days before they go in your bank account:
Nope, definitely receiving FTB part B as per the break down of the payment. Lets hope it just gets updated on Friday
Yeah, mine doesn't show anything on the online thing either.. just the normal payment.

it depends on whether he got all his tax back or not, i know my DP only earnt 10500 last yr and received all his tax back as a tax return so he doesnt get the $900, whereas i had my own sole trader business and paid tax (e.g. no tax return) so i get the $900...:
if you go to the c link website theres a tax bonus calculator, grab your notice of assessment for the 07/08 tax yr (the bit of paper that shows ur income, ur tax and how much you owe/receive back as a tax return) and you can enter the details and it tells you if u qualify or not for a bonus....HTH
All these payments are doing my head in. Basically if we don't do anything will the payments just come to us if we are entitled?
I'm not working this year but we aren't claiming FTB until tax time as our income is close to the threshold (or was last year) SO we are just going to have a happy July?
