That must be very stressful :hug: A lot of emphasis is put on weight gains - they are important but they are only one sign of a healthy baby. The nappy count suggests your little man is getting enough milk so that is a good sign. Also, child health nurses tend to be over-concerned about bf babies not getting enough milk, so if your nurse is not concerned I'd take that as a very good sign.

yules - DH is naturally tall and lean, I am naturally short-to-average and curvy. Both of us were boofa babies, but I was then tiny ... so maybe DS is taking after me! But he's quite long ... but not as long as DH, who was over 60cms at birth ... while I was almost 10 pounds, but shortish ... I guess it just all goes to show that we're all different, eh ...

I got some other bad news Thursday (update soon to be available in my "stitches not healing" thread, if you're interested) and I think I just started freaking out all over the shop, but with a bit of down time over the weekend I hope to get back onto a more even keel...
