To all the wonderful people who have replied and kept us in your thoughts - Ewan is still in ICU, the fever has come down a little and the siezing has stopped. They have given him the antibiotic for meningococcal but still have no answers as to what is causing his infection. They think he will be stable enough to go back to the paeds ward some time today.
I have my sis on the way to care for Paisley, luckily she istravellling in country Vic at the moment and is about 3 hours away(we are from NSW) so she is driving straight to us.
Thank you once again, I will let you know how he is.

So glad to hear your little one is getting better. Appendicitis is rare enough at that age, to be saddled with meningococcal is an enormous double-whammy.
