Ok, so my SIL wants me to make her a cake for her baby shower. Despite my terrible time restrictions I willingly accepted, as I would love doing something special for her. I've done a few baby shower cakes in the past, so I asked her what she wanted. BAD DECISION! This is want she sent me:

ummm ok?
I thought she wanted a belly cake or those cute ABC cube cake pops I did at the last shower. Not that! The shower is on Sunday, I'm working all day today and Saturday. Looks like I have to pull two all-nighters in a row.
Anyhoo, how do I even make something like that? Does anyone know how to make those ruffles? And how to attach them to the cake? Maybe a link to a website where there is instructions? I'm absolutely swamped at work and don't even have time to google.
Please help!
Ps: telling her I can't do it isn't really an option. She suffers from depression and is already really down about the shower, as her only aunty isn't coming (and the date was picked just to suit her). Also we're supposed to bring in a hand drawn and decorated letter for a baby alphabet book and everyone is complaining about how much work it is. So she says that everyone just makes it about themselves, it's never about her and that surely if she's important to us we would make the effort. So yeah, if I call her I and say that I don't have the time to make this extravagant cake, she thinks that she doesn't matter enough. And I really don't want her to snap.
