Nelle - oooh no I didn't think of folding it down and snapping it in place.... THANKS!!!!!!
thanks nelle
who here likes Erica nappies, i know tracey loved them!!
PP glad you saw someone else!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
The Bear and I just got our first fluffy mail! We have been p*ssing ourselves laughing trying to put them together! cross between toilet humour and origami!
The Green Kids ones seem very big for a newborn but I'm sure they will be useful pretty quickly..... the itti bitti ones look like they will probably fit a little bump straight away!
Very very funny...... I think we will need some tips though!
I have just sorted through Coopers nappies and have found one I dont want has a PUL outer but isnt an AIO but not stuffable either...you have to lay a booster in it, though I dont have the Booster it is bright green with dogs and hearts on side snapping and am guessing a Medium size..........if anyone wants let me know. Just pay postage $4. would more suit a girl I think but Cooper has worn it ....many months ago.
Yay for first lot of Fluffy mail for the bear and the pixie!!!!
I still remember my first lot of fluffy mail... mine was green kids too and I had NO freakin idea how it went together.... so I looked on their website for hints.. LOL...
Janie - did you get the BumG ok?
I didn't get any fluffy mail today - but I have got my new nappy bag (new baby = new bag - just have to wait for the baby... )
WOHB: Swaddlebees stuffed really good cos he's sleeping... shhhhh....
Gudism - i never had a nappy bag with Ashley.
Do you think they are a must?? thinking about it... but just used a sachel?
My parents arrive today . They havent seen DD since she was 6 months so it is pretty excited (they are at my sis' at the moment visiting their 3 week old daughter but will be here tomorrow)
Pixie - glad the bear has a sense of humor... lol wish my DH was like that when i got mine hehe
PP - I had a nappy bag with DS but I really hated it, this new one is better set out, better pocket structure etc.
At the moment I just use a backpack, and its a pain in the ar$e to go searching through it in a hurry if you need a wipe, or he's screaming and you want the dummy, or my phone is ringing.. its so frustrating!!!!
So I didn't probably "need" a new nappy bag.. but sure as hell wanted one.. LOL
I saved $100 by buying on ebay too.. can't wait till DH gets home so I can see it!!!!
lol - i would be so frustrated having to wait for DH to get home for all my fluffy mail lol
I will probably just stick it out with my old sachel
When is this baby coming!!!! cmon baby!!!!
Afternoon clothies!!
Ali - I hear you too - seems alot of us here do, seems the cost saving of cloth V sposies is more of a consideration to everyone than I thought!! :) I most of all hear you on the DH eating everything, often that happens here, seems he can never just have a sandwich for lunch like a normal person, has to eat whatever was going to be for dinner... and whatever was going to be for the next night's dinner.... grrrrrr. I know it's not easy for me to say but try to focus on the positves in your life instead of the negative $$$ situation, I know if I thought too much on our cr@ppy financials I would be in a much worse place mentally, even if all I really have is that we're all healthy & Punky is happy & doing well etc. It helps that we don't have a mortgage atm but even that doesn't bare thinking about... we aren't getting a deposit together either.... ANYWAY, I hope things look up soon & do try to make sure you get enough to eat, like Nelle said, who will do the washing if you die of malnutrition?!
Gigi - I'm sure when she is mobile we'll have a similar situation, will try to enjoy her relative quietness while it lasts lol.
yay pixie on your fluffy mail - how exciting for you!!
WOPB: haute pocket
PP - I don't think baby responds well to peer pressure.... lol
WOHB: still swaddlebees, but will change soon...
ETA - WOHB: BBB with Maz cover

WOW you girls can talk. A girl goes to work for 9 or so hours & 3 pages later!!!
Ali - mate, I work part-time, Mondays and weekends and Thursday nights. We sometimes have to wait to the next pay day to buy food in our house. Its hard, it stinks because we are moving to Sydney & I think I'm going to have to work more, which mean Jovie will be in childcare more. Matilda is due to start prep/kindy/whatever that year before grade 1 is. That means she'll be in school at least 3 days a week with before/after childcare. I'll have to work a minimum of 3 days during the week & 1 weekend shift. Sucks, but its a choice we are making for the long term family. In Brissy we are just getting by, so Sydney will mean more working for me & no more children.
Everyone seems to have at least a couple of magicalls..... so are they good? At that price I'm very tempted myself (or perhaps you evil ladies have just led me into the dark underworld of fluffy-mail addiction!)
lol pixie - there was only 1 left.
I dont use the magicalls. i prefer fitted and cover
