Jodi - ittis bittis AIO outers come in either PUL (like the outer of your peapods) or minky. I have had both fabrics on my bub's bottom in summer, with no shorts or pants on over, she has played in the sandpit, gotten grubby, the mcn's wash up fine (PUL or minky). In colder weather, like now, she has trousers or longies over the nappies anyhoo so it's not an issue at all

Pink Palace - for a night nappy to work (your fitted and cover ensemble), the cover must ENTIRELY cover all of the nappy. THe thing all falls in a pile if you have bits of nappy showing ie leaks will happen. I would be guessing at your DD's age, and level of wetting, that the BBB might not be enough absorbency for her. My dd outwetted them at 8 months old (as a night nappy).

Jodi - Nappies From Hell Contents are much easier to cope with , with the Little Squirt. I totally heart that wonderful invention!!!

Gudism - i would tell the ebay seller too, if i didn't, i would worry, what if she was turning her house upside down, hunting for that missing nappy. I have communicated with sellers about things like that, and it's ended well for me too. Sometimes i've been sent a postbag to return the stuff, other times i've been told, don't worry about it.

Melham - thinking of you and hoping you will avoid induction etc. I went into spontaneous labour on the due date + 14 - had to fight hospy to let nature takes it's course. I agree with the others, i don't like hospitals interfering with nature, to fit in with their timetable, i reckon the baby has a timetable of it's own.

WOw, NEssa, is MJ ok? Does that mean i shouldn't come over tomorrow afternoon for our night nappy meetup?

Does anyone have any of the clear plastic zipper bag thinggys (yes, I am sure that must be the technical term for them) that the BumG's come in?? I need any and all you have - I will pay postage for them....

Limey - many new nappies come in a plastic ziplock bag (made by GLAD etc).

Yeah Gigi - the Bumg's come in their own PVC bags with actual zips on them...about the size of a sanwich...I use them in Charlotte's nappy bags, my handbag, and for all my sewingstuff, first aid kits, lol....the uses are endless! But I need more!!

WEll last night was a night mare.

DD had a BBB + 14 layers on bamboo and a wool cover on to bed.
After 4 hrs woke totally soaked from her groin to her chest!

So very over it. Melham is bringing me over a large wool cover so am hoping that might stop the leaks like Gigi suggested . At the moment the top of the BBB is exposed as the BB wool doesnt reach over the top of the nappy.

Sucks as spent so much $$ on BBB and they worked for a little while and now she is having these massive wees, Do the disana's make any difference? ie the way they are designed?

So she is in sposies now. and wouldnt go to sleep until 1am.... so hoping she will sleep in as i am butchered (but of course cant sleep in myself)

Nelle, glad to hear the Peapods worked for you with the extra booster/liner. We have the bamboo boosters with our's.... didn't know you could get hemp in them? When we ordered them at the baby expo they didn't give us the option? I'm sure we'll make them work....i did look at the small ones (we ordered 15 small size) and thought 'hmm they are pretty big for a newborn!!" in the meantime, I'll probably get 15 more nappies. 5 of one type, 5 of another and 5 of another!!! :lol:
i've also read some really positive reviews about Pea pods....

Probably liking GreenKids, Blueberry's (even tho they are $$$$!!) and Tot bots.

So just confirming with you girls that know! Best place to buy these three brands is?

You can only get Snoozywuns from the chick that makes them. I don't think she puts them in a store (ie like nurture nappies, or darlings downunder).

Her store (widdlewuns) is on the ozebaby (com and au) website.

so glad to hear berry plush's are a good nappy after spending so much on them haha i mean i only bought 2 and some extra snap in boosters but still i spent over $80 just on that haha.. i have a nappy addiction!! i didnt necessarily need them just wanted them haha luckily for my dp would have no clue about how many nappies she needs (because we mainly only use mcn for going out and overnight and flats at home) so i just keep telling him she really could do with more haha.. my collection is getting buch better with 4 pea pods, 3 BBH (one with inserts missing though that went walk abouts :( ), 4 snap in ittis with one extra set of snap ins (did have 2 but this was something that went walk abouts too who steals inserts?? weirdos) one itti sewn in and now i have 2 berry plush on their way to me with one extra set of snap in inserts :) hoping they come today!! i only ordered them last night but i clicked express post haha in the hope i could have them today sooo fingers crossed!! haha
renstar - i'm sorry i said all that stuff i didnt realise ud actually already bought pea pods!! we use our pea pods at night sometimes and with the night booster they sell and a cover i find them really good.. as well as during the day they still work for us if i am realistic about how long i leave them on for they just dont last quite as long as an itti but still a long enough time.. hope i didnt worry you too much they are still an ok nappy as long as you are realistic about them.. especially for the price
pinkpalace - woah thats a heavy soaking!!! we only use boosted pea pods or non boosted BBH overnight maybe we have a light wetter?? they are pretty soaked when she wakes but they dont come out the cover.. hope the new cover stops that happening to u!!!
WOHB - boosted pea pods with fluffy cover, should change her but shes playing so happily and hates being changed!!

PP, I totally found that a little bit before Riv turned 1, suddenly it was like the floodgates opened at nights, and suddenly the BBH didn't cut it anymore! So we got some night nappies (I'd been a tightwad til then, but changing bedsheets everymorning helped me see the value of night nappies :P), and they did the job (as long as the cover was on well, still had a few crap cover mishaps. Sometime after he turned 1 though, not sure when, nights became a bit drier, and if a night nappy isn't around, we can use a boosted BBH okay. For covers, my preference is either knitted wool (not that we have anything we can use yet) or side snapping PUL (like Motherease Airflow). Can you knit? How about trying to knit a soaker, I'm rubbish, but my plan is just to go running to Sammi or Melbel when I get stuck on the gusset one day. :P I think there are some knitters up your way.

Yep Ren, GK's I've seen all about the place, at GK's themselves, NN, WW...you stumble across them occasionally.
Blueberries I've seen at WW and Baby Blossom.
Tots Bots - I got my last lot from NN (think I saw fluffles in clearance, love my size 1's for a newborn), think they're also at Darlings Downunder.
I'd still recommend some Baby BeeHinds, those and Tots Bots are my fitted workhorses.

I'd better go change Si before he falls asleep.
