Back from our mini-break! lol sooo good! I feel so much better now...revitalised and ready for action!!
Gettingthe web site organised over the next couple of weeks, should be onlive by August sooo excited!
No more nappies for a while, I just spent $400 on Tupperware (eek!!) lol So the lay by at NN will be looong one I think

Ali - let me know if you find an LS on ebay and are bidding so I dont bid against you - I am stalking EBay for one aswell

So it tuened out that I neddnt have taken all our nappies with us on holiday - we ended up ina 3 bedroom unit with a full laundry, washer and dryer! lol Sometimes reservations stuff-ups work out better than the original plan!!

Nothing much else nappy related...

I need to get cracking on the LS too. Called into bunnings on the way past the other day but they didn't have one so will do the ring around and find one hopefully.

Hello everyone else, hope you're all well
I picked up some 100% wool yesterday from Kmart for 40% off and off to SL tomorrow, clearance starts on all the fleece!!! (I have some covers to make!!)

Well DH and i Had another MCN blow out last night... i swear he is trying to make my decision to go cloth as difficult as he can.

I sorted all the dirty nappies out (ie serperating from pockets etc etc) and put in the washing machin last night so i can start the load this morning once DD is out of her overnight BBB.. And he starts complaining the laundry smells like wee and i should wash more often , blah blah blah... so i cracked it at him! i wash them every 2 days! and i have to prepare my day and prioirtise so i get things done!

Anyhow over that

Gudism - how are you feeling? My SIL was aiming for a VBAC and we got a call last night that she is booked in for a c/s friday . Not sure why she will be 40 + 6 days then.

Sal ! arhhh why did you mention SL lol.... shame i dont know how to make fleece covers!

Well DH is still waiting to hear about this supid job (am over it can you tell).. and it is raining and miserable and i am going to try sewing more Prefolds today to keep me busy (screw the housework!) lol

PP - still here. Feeling depressed. Had a cry this morning. Must need to buy more nappy related stuff.
Oh and my DH was complaining the other night about the laundry smelling like wee too. But he suggested getting some smelly things in there - so perhaps your DH would like to focus on a solution, rather than the problem.. lol
And thats weird that they have booked her in so soon. I mean, I'm 40 + 5 now, and I know that my OB will want to talk about booking in a date sometime in the future, but not until I am at least 10 days over, preferably 14 days.

WOHB: Sposie (day care) Can't be bothered at the moment to worry with taking MCN to day care. Plus it makes more washing and its pi$$ing down here at the moment.

i know Mel that is what i said (i didnt speak with MIL DH did). Her last time was bad. She was induced, laboured for 20 hours, had fetal distress and preclampsia and then they put her to sleep for a general (she was 42 weeks with #1). so maybe they are just jumping in early??

as for the solution... omg you dont know how many times i say this!!!

i said... if i have to wash everyday so he doesnt have to smell wee, the he has to pick up the dog poo from the yard every morning so i dont have to smell poo! fair trade??

PP - I hate to say it but most inductions end up in c-sections. I have a great hatred for them.

i know! i agree! i havent had one but seen plenty and i wouldnt like to have the experience of being induced anyhow :)

WOHB - soon to be nothing.. as i hear murmurs from the bedroom.....

Oh i am big anti induction girl myself! LOL I had only the drip with Evan to move things along & it was awlful. THe worst out of all 3 of my births & I blame it entirely on them rushing nature.
Mind you I knew beter 2nd & & even more 3rd time round.

PP put a lid on teh nappy bucket!! i have the window in the laundry open all the time, still smells a little but is bearable!!

WOHB blueberry, leaked out her night nappy last night!

AJp - the nappy bucket has a lid.
What he was complaining about was i put them in the washing machine last night (lid down) to start this morning when DD woke up and he could smell it.!

Well we leaked again this time....
we had both BBB boosters in the BBB plus the trifold on the outside and her singlet was wet . The wool cover not smelly or wet though

Do you think that maybe the nappy isnt tight enough? and it is leaking out the top? or just too low?

Awww Mel she can't be in there for too much longer. I bet she makes her appearance by Sunday
