well guess what ... the brat is sick with a temp I can't keep down with panadol, so I'm off work today and will call the GP for an appt @ 8am. Gawd I hate this, not being able to work properly! DH is looking forward to spending tomorrow @ home with him ....

Both my girls have temps this morning too.... so that changes everything. Tuesday is my shopping day to get stuff done while Matilda is at Montessori... so no shopping for me. I have enough food to get us through, but its still annoying.

So sorry to hear of all this sick kiddies. All of mine had temps & coughs, ear aches, sore throats etc at the start of the school holidays. So I had 2 weeks of barking dogs in the house because thats what they sounded like!
I am going to put Isla in sposies at night. She is waking every bloody night. I DON"T NEED PRACTICE!! Last night she woke crying saying ouch again. So again I got up (for the 2nd time that night) & changed her, then she slept the rest of the night.
The first NN was hardly wet, but wet enough to make her uncomfortable I guess.
I need a full nights sleep! So I am going to try aldi sposies at night again. The time I was using them at night when she had the rash she slept so much better. But Now its up 2 times a night & then she gets up & gets in bed with me. I can't have a 2yr old as well as NB waking all the time.
She is fine during the day.. Just night nappies she seems to be sick of.
Have Playgroup today, then fingers crossed I can pick up my nappy bag fromt he post office. So need a new bag fix LOL.
Rensatar I use Euca powder and find it's great! I use it for everything and the 10lt bucket lasts about 6 months. As you can imagine with my lot I do a lot of washing ;) I think you can get smaller packets or samples if you want to try it out before getting the big bucket.

MummyTummy if you have a gape around the leg no amount of boosting will stop poo leakage. In fact too much boosting can make it worse. Maybe give the ittis a rest till he puts on some more chub or you could use a cover over it to help with pootainment. Smalls fitted Caleb till he was about 5 months and he was no small fry so you'd get wear out of them if you did wait a little bit.

Hello to everyone else! Gotta go get somewhat organised. I've bitten the bullet and decided to get a cleaner for the last couple of weeks. and they are coming at 11. It's just too painful for me to get down and do the hard stuff ATM.
:hug: Raven thats exactly what I did.. and then kept her going... until she's worked for me for 4 years now PMSL... Opps forgot to cancel the cleaner ;) Its only fortnightly and its only floors and bathrooms but thats what I need help with, I can dust like a mad woman and clean my kitchen til its sparkling... and I can tidy up... its just doing it all at once with everything else I can't do.
FJ - Jovie's got the bark going.... its pretty funny. We went to the GP just now & he said "sounds like croup?" uh... yeah... but she didn't cough at all overnight. :rolleyes:

Oh I so want a cleaner LOL. (And I'm at home all the time - slack). I had a cleaner come to do a spring clean a while ago, then I was going to get her to do the floors & bathroom fortnightly, but she did such a rubbish job and the company was so extremely unhelpful about it that I gave up and decided that I didn't need to pay someone to do a worse job than I can do. It's hard to get the big jobs done during the day with an unpredictable sleeper, and I can't do them at night because he doesn't go to bed until close to midnight. Or I could just stop phaffing about on the computer, that might help...
Hope all the sick and sore bummed bubbies recover soon. Sending big waves of recovery vibes to all. Euan seems to be doing better now so they obviously work ;)
WOHB: Um, just for something new and different, Bamboozle and Sugarpeas wool cover. He has been changed since yesterday, I promise.
P.S. The bubblebubs rocks. It was on him all evening - from about 6:30 until he went into his night nappy at 11:00.

We went shopping today...VY was in her knickers and no accidents although she did a pooh in her knickers before we went out and totally lost it about it.

guess what ... the brat has a virus. AQRTGHHHH . On the bright side, not as many nappies to wash. The KK was dry when I changed him around 7am into a GK minkytime. The GK was dry when I changed him around 10am into his twinklelilly pawprints. And the TL was still dry at midday so I've put him down for a nap in it. :nappy:
I wish he'd just get over the bloody virus!
Wandered around Kallista for a while with him in his sling, I love the sling with a sick bub - when I stopped in to get some lunch I used it to tie him into the provided highchair there. And then he fell asleep on my shoulder :sling3: oh so very cute when he's not ill (and quiet!)
