Thanks Maz, lol at your ticker, but I know I am going to miss it after this bub, so I completely understand.
Well, I cant wait for DH's CC to arrive, then we can pay off everything and I can put the nappies away in the new change table. I dont know how I will wait 31 more weeks!!
she was great maz!! boys are both getting big!!!
helllllo
peapods do come in a wetbag, but not really big enough for a dirty nappy. great for wipes though!
Us - think one of Pips nappies is at CC as he came home in a flanno flat, haven't checked out the bag though. forgot it was RDO of the room leader today, and the relief isn't snap-friendly. (packed a BP and a starbumz)
WoHB - BBB with imsevimse cover.
Kat- i think Buzy bees on WAHMNAPS did a my 1st xmas one.. she does take custom orders.
ok annika is spreading spagetti everywhere
BBL
Wooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooo WTG Mateauz
PMSL at your ticker!
Jols I had for a moment a wild crazy thought about going along to that sale but quickly slapped some sense into myself. I went 2 weeks before Angies EDD (the May one about 5 years ago now!) and was close to both decking people (one of them being MIL who escorted me JIC I went into labor) and walking out. Hope Rachel is doing well. Miss chatting to her so I hope she pops in to say hello!
Mummyof3
Wow FJ that kind of sleep will have you all recovered in no time!
Katones yes they are wetbags. I used them a few times but ended up turfing them because I prefer something that seals up to contain the smells and I would rather have a few nappies in one wetbag instead of a few of them if I go out.
That is fricking discusting :sick::
these long sleeps are in the day, they are of no use to me then! he wakes every 2 hours at night
i remember reading that newborns do not have a sense of day and night, and it takes them at least a few months (might be around the ten week mark) to realise there is a difference btwn night and day.
Fee, i was using Malden Mills pockets on bilby for sleeps as a newborn. So many people say "newborns don't wet that much, don't need a night nappy" but bilbs DID wet that much! so i was glad of our MM fleece pockets for that purpose. We used dedicated night nappies quite early too, a few months old.
Pink, i would LOVE to put up photos of bilby in her MCN, but i'm not a Platinum member, so can't use photo gallery on this forum. i think that's how it works. unsure.
Arimeh, i wish i could post the link to the NN page where it explains what is in the disposables. some heavy duty chemicals are in them, that make me horrified (that they are put in products designed to be worn by children).
Yes, Ecapris is due very soon!
Katones - yeh for the outing in cloth! i take along a portable changemat too ($8 at baby target), JIC you hit a parent's room with a yuck changing surface. Often it's a changetable that you swing down from the wall. (like a hideaway ironing board) esp in disabled loos (to save space). When you need to change baby, you are not near any loos, or the weather is conducive, we just stop the car and find some shade, change bilby on the grass (using the portable changemat). If you are caught short, with stuff all on you in the car, we always have a bamboo terry flat in the car, and if desperate, will change her on that. I also keep a "spare nappy bag" in the car, with one of everything in there.
if you have a LONG day out, i pack two nappy bags, go back to car at lunchtime and swaps bags. (well that's what i did with a newborn - when you do heaps of changes). now bilbs is older, i don't need to do that, cos the volume of changes is way down.
the baby beehinds wetbags are a good workhorse. Not a gorgeous pretty fabric (a pleasant enough plain purple), but very sturdily made, zip that will withstand MUCH washing, good sized loop, good sized bag. and good price.
NaNa, i will sleep much better tonight knowing you have a RED wetbag, all is right with the universe now. Alas there are no wetbags with bilbies on them, or else i would own it! but we survive nonetheless. The cowprint lovers are looked after, cos several brands do cowprint wetbags e.g greenkids.
i always say hello to our CCC's cook, she is so nice. Have you been tempted by any RED nappies of late
gigi- anyone can use the gallery!!!!
sam it was surprisingly quietish there today!! must have been the rain that scared people off, they didnt have what i needed to a bit of a wasted trip!!
wohb wildchild
Gigi - I requested red Wild Child night nappies! I'm in the middle of making a couple of taggies for DS with red and black ribbon on some super-squishy snowy white chenille fleece. I'm wearing red sparkly shoes (think Dorothy in Wizard of Oz and you're spot on, but no heels!) and red lipstick, just because. The madness will never end...
pimp yo wetbag! Bilby keytags or something?
OK, gotta go stuff pockets and origami some flats. The pile of laundry is fast becoming an OH&S problem!
WOHB: BBB and rainbow tots bots fleece cover, coz he just might sleep tonight. Or not... wouldn't be unusual.
*skittlebub emerges from her cave*
OMG its so good to get online after 2 weeks of not being ables to get on, the first week because we were busy & DD wanted to be held 24/7 then this last week because we've had problems with the wiring in the rental we are in & have had no power all week in the laundry, lounge & bathroom. So no internet for a week & not being able to wash nappies has driven me just about insane
WTG Maz on the first steps
Good to see you're still around Sam, not long to go now
Congrats FJ on your bubba
Hi everyone else
Sorry if I have missed any other important news, I havent read the last couple of threads
Melb girls - Anyone up for a meet between now & Chrissie, maybe after Sam's bubby is born?
Wow Sal, its been ages... glad to see you are back and well (have missed you in baby buddies too!)
NaNa - I can't believe how colour co-ordinated you are... really.. tis quite.. admirable ;)
Maz - Love your ticker pic - I should do mine again.. cos my belly looks wayyyyy worse now that the baby is outta there..
Did some washing tonight - found ANOTHER booster that looks like its coming apart - I just don't know whether to put it down to bad luck, bad urine, or bad cats!!!!! Doing my head in...
I don't think its a pee problem though - cos its HERS.. not HIS... and I doubt she is teething cos she's still an angel... Hmm.. dunno dunno dunno..
WOAB: GK boosted for beddy byes
WOMB: BBB & longies (still coolish in her room and they are soo damn cute, if I don't use them now she'll grow out of them!!)
Alioops - i bought those bamboo/corn cloths at woollies too, to replace chux type cloths in the kitchen, to wipe down counters etc.
NaNa - do you have the RED tots bots fleecy cover too? I thoroughly approve of the rainbow look, but as it's YOU, i thought it might be criminal for you to have the rainbow TB and not the red TB as well. *cough*
Arimeh - bilbs started teething at three months, some kids are BORN with teeth. I didn't suspect teething so early (at first) but then i got told about the teeth going up and down, up and down - cos i had just assumed, the teeth just would go in one direction, but noooooo, they are going up and down, making room in the gums.
is there any chance of the nappy load being done more frequently? i am worried the holes are down to the length of time the fabric sits in wee. we cannae have your stash ruined! that would be too $ad.:kissing:
WOTBB: dragonflymagik night AI2
welcome back Skittlebub!
Hope you're travelling well Raven and Ecapris.
Pink - it's not the zebra trainers, but here tis A mcn photo anyhoo https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...hp?photo=10764
Hiya Sal :D I saw your SIL at the school the other day and it got me thinking I should shoot you a message to see it you are alright! Good to see you back and big GGGGGGRRRRRRR's at not having any power for a week :o
Ah bugga Jols that would just be my luck. Could go in today I guess...
Mel I must have missed you mentioning the boosters the first time! What type are they?
