Thanks everyone for thinking of Euan on his birthday!! So far he's having a great birthday, he got a new toy which he tried to eat and then bash together, and now he's having a sleep. And soon we'll go up to the house my family are at and he'll run around like a nutter again.
But he has not yet had a cloth nappy on his bum today, but next change he will be back in cloth (because I have run out of sposies LOL and I really don't want to buy more). His bum was looking heaps better this morning after a night slathered in sudocream, but then after his shower he was looking really red again. It's drying up, so hopefully it will continue to improve, but I am actually wondering whether he is reacting to the moo goo - I used a tiny bit of the milk wash on his bum this morning and that's when he flared up, yesterday when I put the cream on his bum the rash was worse when next I changed him (although most of those times he'd also had a poo), but when I did a patch test on him (on a non-rashy part) he was fine. So it's a bit hard to tell. I really hope that he's not reacting to it, because I so want to use it on him - I really hate using sudocream because it is just a nightmare to use with cloth, but it seems that it is what works best on E's butt. But once his bum is cleared up I'll try the moo goo again.
Ness - good sewing there!!! I love that fabric!
Ooops, gotta go, the birthday boy's awake!! Mwahs to all!

Does anyone wet with water their wet only nappies then dry pail? i was just reading some info sheets and they said to do this before dry pailing?
