hey ali - those things weren't testers honey.......I made them for you as pressy woman :)
Thanks Hun MWAHS!!!!
They are loverly!! I am slightly obsessed with looking at things in NB size ATM so now I can leave the nappies that I need to use on Em in the higher rise
Kat - PMed you ;)
I think this bub will be small enough for NB. That friend that I loaned the CT to, her boy was 10lb9oz and is in smalls now!! So it is time for me to start collecting NB size gradually. So little!! I am going to be using liners till the tar is gone though!!!
Arrrgh now I want the giraffe minky :crying:
Does anyone know where I would find a cow print nappy??
Not much nappy news here Waiting on fluffy mail and my moooooo mail
Just went and picked up my net order and I got blue babylegs and 6 cloth wipes. Only problem is the wipes are pink with rabbits on them saying baby girl. Oh well he'll just poop on em anyway ;)
WOHB: red peapod
cluck cluck post https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...022&ppuser=486

cluck cluck cluck ;)
(no i DON'T want to be pregnant.. really... honestly... ;))
yeah, right Mel... we soooo believe that... :p
I came here for a purpose... what .,,mn
.was it/?
(oh Euan, stop typing with your feet darn it)
Nup, can't remember now....
FJ, Iain's super cute.
That wasn't it either... I'll be back later when I think of whatever it was I was going to say and stop phaffing about waffling on about nothing. Oh, something nappy related... Euan just had a big poo. Off to extract it...
WOHB: A big stinky poo and a Keester Kovers MM AIO.
Hey guys if anyones chasing WC nappies theres 2 on b4b for $10 each no bids yet and it goes off sometime tomorrow. How do people deal with sellers who dont make contact once theyve received money??
hmmm I would give say 5 working days to recieve the item & then contact them again asking when it was mailed.
ah crap, those WC are mine. Not sure why they went up as a 24 hour auction. Will have to go fix that.
rhyb - thats fiona jill selling them...nioce nappy's FJ noice!!!!
Oh an Rhyb im pretty sure you can report them in the contact us section
well good news ladies...
My house sold... one open house and its sold...
so now they want quick settle ment and the new house isnt finished yet.. have to live with my folks for like 8 weeks... eekkkkk (on the plus side i will save $$ and get built in baby sitters)
oh PINK, what an awful day your two kiddywinks are having! two sick at once! hugs to you all.
How is Sarah today ALIOOPS? Send us your dates when you are visiting around December.
thanks for the photography offers Suse and Arimeh!
AJP - the liners we tried that were lovely and soft? (and are sticking with now!!) were
- tots bots (from nuture nappies)
- bummis (i got them from an IRL organic baby shop called The Rainbow Tree, but many online sites stock them)
Unlike the hard papery ones that we had to cut in half cos they were so big, i use these ones just as is.
Squidgee - if you like giraffe minky mcn, i have seen them made up as
- Greenkids pockets OSFA (aplix)
- and Cushies Tushies AIO OSFA (front snaps).
I bet Nelle could tell you more!
Do blueberries do giraffe covers, pockets, aio's? they do OTHER animal prints. unsure.
whoever asked about COWPRINT - i think Maz and Kazbah know about cowprint nappies. the only one that sticks in my mind is the Happy Heiny pockets - two type, the COTTON PUL print and the POLY PUL print. (both of cowprint) - on sale at theweewuns last time i checked.
and is it Greenkids who make a COWPRINT nappy wetbag?
and Mazalicious makes cowprint minky breastpads.
either huggalugs or babylegs make cowprint legwarmers for babies.
and if you have a toilet training child, bluberry makes cowprint minky trainers!
what have i forgotten Maz and Kazbah, please add to my incomplete list for squidgee fi you have the time.
THere are ZEBRA freaks on here too, you think of an obsession, there will be SOMEONE who will say "snap" to that. except for me and my bilbies! i loike to be different/ unyoousual / noice ha ha.
DH has not said boo all day - i'm just leaving him to it - so hard NOT to say "have you got the group cretificate/ super docs"? my tongue is in MANY pieces.
me and bilby went out at 10.30 to see lactation consultant / GP (mega wait), went to buy ABA calendar, bought cheapest petrol for years (94 cents a litre!!!!!) and got home around 2.30pm. so we left him in peace for a few hours.
Mother's Direct 24 hour sale on just for today.
wotbb: a rainbow SS she's on the last snaps of, Ooberbaby (wahmania).
Gigi - Glad you managed to get out of the house long enough for DH to get it done. If it isn't done he has no excuse.
Ness - WOOHOO!!!! that is excellent with the housing market as it is at the moment!! Make sure you do have some time to yourself while you are staying with your parents!! Do you have storage arranged for your furniture?
FJ - I hope you can fix the WC auction!!
Well I suppose that now that we have less than a month I can post our dates for our trip to Adelaide. We leave Townsville on Christmas eve and arrive in Adelaide at 7pm and leave at 6:15am 3/1/09. The girls will be in sposies during that time, well Em will and Sarah will wear them to bed.
Sarah went to Daycare today!!! I managed to have a nap while Em was down too!! Still feeling pretty tired and hot but DH is bringing tea home with Sarah.
WOEB: A wet nappy that is about to be changed!!
someone has bidded on 1 of the so I can't edit that but edited the other one
Just a quick one:
Baby blossom sells a blueberry side snap minky in cow print. I'm just ordering one, they're finally open again.
Nes, congrats on elling your house so quickly!
FJ, that's a great piccie.
Went to the beach today. I hope the salt water will help Maya with her nappy rash. Not sure if rubbing sand all over her body will help, though ;-)
WOMB: black GK with skeletons on it - very cool!
Saša
Gigi - yes maz has cow print BP's..so yes maz has cow print, zebra and giraffe minkee that will be played with in the new year ;) and oh theirs giraffe and cow babylegs available to..spunky butts has some from memory.
there is a bubble bubs on b4b in white..grrr with cow tabs and purple inner that a certain miss maz is watching :)
Ness -wonderful news about selling the house and haiving sitters for the NEW year ;)
PP - oh hon...i hope you can get some time out for yourself..try and take it easy.
BBL - kids screaming..oh no its Jed screaming MEN
thanks girls.
Ethan is still a little chucky and Ashley has had no more vomitting, just off her food.
So i have put them back into MCNs for now :)
Hope everyone is well
Ali - how is the pregnancy keeping?
Ness- woohoo on selling the house, it will only be a little while at your pares then you will be in that brand new spanker of a house yay!
Heres a pic for those who need a cluck cluck moment! Ethan smiling in his tiger cover a friend sent him!
https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...hp?photo=11029
Cluck Cluck Cluck!!!
All is going wonderfully PP, I have felt small movements, it feels like stroking and a gentle lean. I am guessing that the times I feel movement are when bub is really partying though. Everything happens so early with 3rd! I assume it would be even earlier with 4th!! We are getting eveything organised early though because DH will be away from 2/2 until 29/4 which means he misses most of the 2nd tri and some of the 3rd tri. I can't do it on my own coz my sciatic nerve has already started playing up.
FJ, I hope you managed to get a decent price for that WC even though it wasn't on for long.
Not much happening here, DH put the girls to bed so I have no idea WOTB.
hello ladies :)
Gigi - so will he tell you he's done it or ???
Ali - yay on the trip. Flying?
Maz - I just realised the spider cover has spider web lining! so cool!
what else ... today was the first day I went to CC to pick up Pip and he came flying across the room screeching "mummy mummy mummy" and hugged my leg and kissed me. Usually he just shows me his toys and runs away :( but today! not!
CC nappy of choice today was ... GK!
WoHB - kk nights.
aw! that's so lovely Kaz
noice to be appreciated heh?
no, it's 11pm, and dh has disappeared into the lounge room, hasn't said a PEEP so i have no clue if IT"S DONE or not. Bit scared to ask, may start WWIII allover again.
i did ask "how's it all going" as neutrally as i could this afternoon, and just got a vague response, similar to hwat i've been hearing for the last eight months, so i repeat, have no flippin' clue. Grrrrrr.
oh, bilby has decided she lurves monkeys and penguins (cos of Pingu i'm sure), so feel free to spam me with monkey or penguin links (links are not allowed in bb posts, but are allowed in pms) if you happen to know of any.
i haven't figured out yet if she equates ZEBRAS with ZEBRA PRINT. cos she goes nuts (jumps up and down, make squeaks of excitement) when she sees her zebra print minky trainers.
Maybe i should hunt for fabric in these themes and get trainers made for her out of them. How sad, i can't justify buying nappies anymore. Unless she had a gianormous growth spurt i guess. but many of our MCN go up to 16 - 17kg, and she's not 12kg yet. Hmm i have to face facts. no more mcn buying. Can you understand now why i enjoy ENABLING the rest of you? cos i WOULD LOVE to be the one saying "i'm pregnant, wot a pity, i need to buy MCN! LOL". "my newborn is growing out of all his nappies, i need more!".
Wow, busy in here! :D Good on us!
Umm...what. Nappies all washed yay! We've got a chucky one here too, Riv had 3 spews today, didn't seem too fazed by it, bit clingy towards the end. Out like a light now though, praying he stays that way all night. :)
Gigi, I love Giraffe and Tiger print, but YOU are the nappy trawling queen, I will never see more than you mate.
Yay on the house selling Ness, that's some stress less for you hey.
WOTB's: Sposies methinks, Riv's sick and by the smell of his gas ooooer we're gonna be in for a doozy when it happens.
Maz - I know I already said phwoar lol, but I really, really like your new avatar!! Oh, the facebook girls have been missing you too.
Gigi - Way to make me feel worse about my already guilty decision to buy some sposies (the cheapest possible brand for the briefest possible time lol) for my trip to Colac & back... ;)
It's the first time Punk'll have had a sposie on in 7 months or so... but it is just her & I going down on the train this afternoon with a kinder kot & a backpack & I would never have fit some clothes for me, clothes for the punk, snacks, wipes etc etc AND MCN in my bag. I considered taking a suitcase too but realised that would be stoopid. I admire those dedicated souls who travel long haul with MCN!! I think if it were a longer trip (like a week instead of a night) & if I weren't alone It would seem easier to use cloth, time to wash & dry etc... I was so bummed in the baby isle at Woolies yesterday, they are all so expensive, not to mention horrible... ick ick ick. I got homebrand ones & am going to use a Mazzy cover for a bit of extra protection.
Nelle - What did you get for you birthday?! Flowers? Breakfast? Lots of hugs?? Sorry to hear you've got sickness at your place too. :(
PP - So sorry to hear that the kids are sick hon, poor little things, and poor you!
FJ - It was you lamenting the lack of MCN mummies in your mummies group yes? Never fear - you are a trailblaser! A trendsetter! They roll their eyes out of jealousy I tell you!
Okay my dears, I will be loving & leaving you, as I said above we are off on a train to ye olde Colac town, house hunting & whatnot, be back Friday! *mwah!*
Kaz - Yeah flying. We would have needed an extra 2 weeks to drive it. Maybe next time we will drive it. The girls will be in sposies while we are away though, I dont think weight wise we would fit MCN into our luggage.
Gigi - I hope he asks you to drop into the tax office with his forms today. I really hope he does want to put an end to this. By giving you a $20,000 debt he has given himself that debt, and when you are not going out to work you are using money that he earns for all of you to live on in order to pay it off. I dont think he has realised that.
FJ - when we switched to cloth I basically just got on an did it, and then the questions started rolling in. I dont tend to make a big thing of it until people show curiousity.
Gigi - Not sure if I have seen any penguins or monkeys. If they are out there I know you will find them.
We had roll of from Em again this morning  Sarah decided she wants to wear a nappy today again but i can hear her in the toilet so I think she is changing her mind. Nope she was putting dolly to bed.
WOEB: Toolbox CT
WOSB: Mommy's touch
Gigi, Darlings Dowunder sell a Starbunz Animal pocket nappy with a Monkey on it. But you probably know about those anyway...
Saša
was very happy last night..Jack had a FJ infant fitted on aswell as one of Maz's covers.. and he did the biggest poo/fartplosion... and it was all contained very well... hubby had a heart attack with the amount of poo/noise there was.. but all was good.
WOJB ~ IB but have no clue what colour...
Hey clothie mummas!
Just briefly interupting your chatter for 2 secs!..Do many of you use GKs? I'm just cleaning out our draws and have one very lonely GKs hemp insert that I thought might be useful for someone (it's the insert that has 2 sewn together, and comes from the insert + booster set you can buy, except this one doesn't have the booster. Just the 2 inserts sewn together). Actually come to think of it, I might have some GKs microfibre inserts too..I'll have to check again.
Anyway, is anyone interested in them (Free of course!)? if so let me know and I'll post em to you this week.
Now back to your normal programming!!
Thats a lovely gesture lee!
I have no GK but a few of the girls on here do! i am sure you will find some takers!
Lee - that is awfully generous. I use GK a lot - and could definitely use them - but if there is someone else wanting to build up their stash a little more, then I'd give them to them first
No nappy news here. Got a bum in a GK in front of me that is STINKY... my mum was here before with my aunty and uncle from Tassie that I haven't seen in YEARS, and mum was like "oh Melina doesn't use those normal diapers, she uses special ones.. "... lol.. and my uncle was like "woahhh.. you mean you wash them??? Like old school???" and I'm like "yeah man... totally.. " ;)
WOAB: Stinky stinky stinky white GK
WOMB: WC
Lee- what a great offer.. but dont have any green kids here...
hey has anyone used a chloe toes??? after some feedback...
Hmm oh and i just want to say thank you again to everyone.. you all know what for.. awesome effort
:)
xxxx
You gorgeous woman you!!!!!! Oh darn it...LEE yes yes yes...would love to try the GK BUT we cant do help or microfleece :( reacts to my little guy really badly (worse then VY). YOu need to come in here more often too woman!
Ness - no thank you sweets for doing the organising ;)
Chloe toes...never heard of them...shcok horror!!!
Kat - glad the poosplosion was contained....I had an IB on sir today...while I had him in his carrier.....well what do you know...whoopsy time and out the sides it goes...all over my bb's...in the main stree!!!!
AHHH rain!!!!!!!
shiat the nappies!
Maz- you just reminded me.... we had poop explosion.. teething poos from my lilac itti today... all over my friends carpet... Opps..........
oooooops
Well today CC chose the emergency sposie instead of either a:
twinklelilly AIO
or
ecobubs wool pocket :(
I was wondering why his pants kept falling off his hips - I buy the "cut for cloth" pants and they need the bulk of the nappy to stay up!!!
Lee - what a lovely offer! But i'm very happy with my home-made bamboo stuffing thanks
Maz - erk. We didn't get rain here - I was having a facial at The Glen when it was struck by lightning and the lights went all funny though ...
B - no, well done to you! Hey, how's the teething necklace working for you guys?
WoHB - bubblebubs GNST (I think?) with FJ cover.
Kaz- the teething necklace .. i think it was working but could really compete with a quadrople wammy.. 4 top teeth cutting at once..
plus being summer mixed with driddle we got excema.. so its off till we clear that up
Hi all :D A bit sad here as we are using sposies :( DH won't use cloth while I am in hossie with bub and I can't trust MIL will wash them properly after I caught her spraying one with preen (I use it on DH's grimy collars) after I told her not to use anything else in the wash not even nappysan. After she left I strip washed that load and it's on the clotheshorse ATM.
So sad and I'm not sure that a week will be detrimental to the well being of my nappies but I'll be fretting
ECAPRIS (Rachel with toddler Angas) has had her baby! Harriet arrived bright and early this morning, i posted a birth announcement, but prolly in the wrong spot, cos i was too excited to read the forum list right.
oh Sammi, that is one gorgy full term belly photo there, very atmospheric with the blinds shadow.
So Beatrix, can you see four teeth thru, or is it still A Work In Progress for MJ?
Aren't you glad that accident didn't happen on your carpet just before an inspection!! How did your friend react?
Whatever happened to the inserts you sprayed with spider spray within an inch of it's life? Did you manage to rescue them?
The one embarrassing, "while we out" poo leak for us (nb stage) just HAD to happen in the baby carseat of someone i barely knew. That convinced me to stick to prefolds and covers - until bilby's legs chubbed up.
How did you cope with poo leak all over your chest, esp whilst out of home Maz? Did you have someone to pass M too, so you could grab tissues, baby wipes etc? Mums often carry a spare set of clothing for bubs, but how often i WISHED i had packed a spare tee for myself, but never did (for breastleaks in the first 8 months) and i bet alot of mums would need them for reflux, chucky bubs too (in the ideal world, when our personal assistant was following behind with a spare set of everything ha ha).
SUnshine - thanks for the DDU tip, i HAD forgotten all about the starbunz! of course, think animals, think starbunz! (with the exception of penguins LOL). i think i had mentally crossed Starbunz off my list yonks ago, cos so many of the designs feature MAINLY WHITE as teh main colour and i am a bit paranoid about keeping white - well white! i will go and look again, just in case the monkey is not white. but hang on, what am i doing, i don't need to buy any nappies. Trainers, trainers, trainers, i must FOCUS!!!! Keep on getting LED ASTRAY and DISTRACTED. LOL
there is a blue zebra CGR set up on the CGR store on ozebaby, i woudln't get it cos it's front snaps and too wide (and we don't need nappies), but i really love the embroidery of the zebra picture. i'm thinking an animal theme for bilby's trainers. Little animals are floating her boat, so i'll go with that.
Pink - how are the sick two today?
Nelle - how is Riv? Maybe i should be asking how YOUR tum is, did you go nuts with yummy birthday food? great at the tiem, pay for it afterwards!
Queen - GL with what sounds like househunting at Colac. Hope you and PUnky have a good train trip - wooo wooo (pretend i'm making many thomas the tank noises).
now when you get a half a second hug from the bilbster, you have to share her with Anime Monkey and Big Ted. Monkey's head is SO big, you feel like you're cuddling three little people at once.
TAX NEWSFLASH - breaking news, we interrupt this rivetting ramble to inform you that Gigi's dh has actually requested Gigi visit The Accountant tomorrow to deliver dh's tax records. Dh cannot deliver said records himself, as due to the Damn Vandals latest actions, means he is on the bus to work, waiting for car to be repaired. So there is movement at the ranch.
Long suffereing accountant knows the score, and may just be the Knight in Shining Armour that Gigi needs and she is prepared to kiss his boots in gratitude, saving her from The Crippling Debt Part 1 - alas that is only the first tax return that is late, one more to come before this Scary Nightmare Debt is put to rest (until July 09).
Then I will sing the Hallelujah Chorus with relief.
Now, returning to our usual programming, carry on
We await news from RAVEN!!!
Who was it, whose cleaning lady did Bad Things to the MCN? was that you Kazbah? i read of someone else, whose clenaing lady took bamboo trifolds from teh nursery, to use as CLEANING CLOTHS!!! They now stink of chemical stuff.
how you doing Suse?
hi Melbel, if you're lurking hon! thinking of you.
Gigi- yep saved the insert.. has been washed only about 15 times..lol
ah my friend was cool she has 4 kids so it just blended into the other mess on the carpet..
OMG im so so happy that he has got his bum in gear!! hope its all sorted out for you very soon!!
Oh want to know what i have been sewing (well cuting out) a breast feeding top!! oh i hope it works out ok!! cost me $12 in material .. will post a pic when i have finished...
Gigi - I am so happy to hear that dh has got his bum into action and is starting to relieve you of stress and crippling debt!! Now I must get my dp into the same kinda action (although he has done his returns that relate to our FTP payment years, just not the ones before ooops).
I am good btw honey, tired from Mr I-can-grow-Molars, and my family (and DP's mum) arrived today so we are inundated with a hive of activity in preparation for the first birthday on Friday (which, the way it is going, will be bigger than bloody Ben Hur ).
Sam - that is a gorgeous belly shot (both the shot and the belly). I did a kinda similar shot of my 20 week belly. I didn't get any good shots of my due/overdue belly, doh.
Oooh, oooh, congratulations Rach, and welcome to the world lovely Harriet.
Hi everyone else :hello: (channelling Grover, but not as well as Gigi does).
I got moo goo today. It has been used on the boy's butt - I left him with the over enthusiastic but in hindsight obviously clueless babysitters (clueless about nappies, that is, but then, I didn't leave specific instructions ) whilst I went to pick up DP from work and when I came back he had done a very large, stinky but unnoticed poo (more ) and was working on the first signs of a nicely red bum which has now been made udderly delicious and hopefully by morning smooth and soft as a... well, a baby's bum. It smells good too. Like honey. Mmmm. But anything is an improvement on that poo. Eeeerk.
And I got a teething necklace, it looked way cute on him with his cheetah blueberry (yes, Euan is now officially the gayest baby in the village, according to his dad ), so even if it doesn't work for intended purpose it still looks really cool.
I'm going to bed now. Nighty night.
WOHB: Whizz Kidz Nightz and grandma's wool shorties, and nothing else. It's still about 29 degrees here (at 11:00pm), and even the massive lightning storm didn't put a dent in the heat.
Gigi! Yay! So happy that your dh finally got it together with the tax BS! Small sigh of relief... then pucker up for those accountant's boots! BTW, I spotted some wild zebra-print pjs in KMart the other day. Of course, when I say "spotted" I mean "purchased". Can't help myself! I really should learn some self control. But then, DS really should stop growing so fast.
hey Suse, I have DS in a pair of rainbow babylegs, a rainbow Maz cover, a purple singlet and his teething necklace. Gayest baby in this village? He doesn't fit into the jaguar berryplush anymore... I can just visualise the terribly-old-fashioned Italian nonna next door shrieking "mamma mia" at that one. She already thinks I'm a heathen. Am I traumatising my child? Maybe, but he looks fabulous!
Beatrix - congrats on selling your house! looking forward to seeing your BF top. IKWYM about the teething necklaces not exactly being able to soothe much when it's 4 teeth cutting at once... I think we're getting one after another in rapid succession. Not fun.
Maz - erk!! I sewed pockets into my ring sling, and never go out without a spare t-shirt (in a zip-lock bag) for me in one of them. I also keep one in the nappy bag with DS's spare clothes. Haven't needed it for poosplosions yet, but a few BB leakages and a VERY chucky baby.
Sam - Gorgeous photo! The little hand touching your belly is so sweet.
:o at your MIL. Can you lock your stash away until you get home from hossy, just to know it's safe? Or is it too late now?? Hmmm...
No nappy news here. Just longing for my wildchild night nappies... but who knows when they'll be happening?
NaNa - OK, you win!! And phoey to the fuddy duddy nonna if she thinks that dressing your child in bright, colourful, fun things is traumatic. Being a boring mum would be much more traumatic me thinks...
On teething necklaces - Euan is cutting two molars right now and has been a most unhappy chappy, as you all know from my incessant whining on the subject. So, yesterday afternoon my teething necklace arrives, as do multiple doting relatives, who seem to have an eradicating effect on teething pain. Euan wore his teething necklace from 6:00pm till 10:00pm, and slept from (drum roll please...)... 11:00 till 7:30am!!!! He did stir and cry out a few times in the night but went straight back to sleep without needing resettling. So, coincidence do you think? Was it just sheer exhaustion due to hours of constant giggling? Or, heaven forbid, does the amber actually work...? Tune in next time and find out...
Sam - is that photo in your gallery? I'd love to see it in all it's bellyish glory, ticker photos are just too darn small!
WOHB: a baby greens and a tots bots turquoise star cover, we're just about to have a shower.
I wanna see pics of these boys in their gear!!!!!
Suse - our necklace rocks...i even bought one for Vy that she never takes off anymore. I cant find Mateauz...its one of those magnet clasp ones so he no doubt played with it in bed.
A for my and the t-shirt pooh...no I didnt have another...thankfully we went home after it happened but I drove wearing just my bra cause I couldnt do the stentch of pooh woffling up to my nose....I must of amused alot of other drivers...oh well....gave people a good scare with out it being Hallowean
Hmmm...3 NAUGHTY GIRLS sent us stuff today!! Im not use to getting such lvoely, beautiful mail
Caddie - sent a beautiful christmas box she had scrapbooked for me.
Kelly 9mummyof 3) sent the most gorgeous christmas nappy for Mateauz that he promptly shiat in!
Gigi - what are you doing sending me stuff woman!!!! The bib is gorgeous and the cow's **** mateauz sat their mezmerised by them.
Thank you all so much but you know you really shouldnt have...I know everyone is tight with $$ atm and oh this included you MIss Suse...sending me the most yummiest wash stuff. I cant use it...its to nioce!
What is a woman to do when this situation occure's????? why pull one's finger out fo rectum and get to the post office to put smiles on others dials!!!!!
