Ah yay I got 13 Itti Dlish snap-ins in large with 6 mini booster snap ins - 2 red, 2 lime, 2 chocolate, 2 turquoise, 2 peppermint, 2 rockmelon and a purple for $291.30 + free shipping. I cannot wait for them to come now, Im going to be madly checking the letterbox for the next few weeks :lol:
Im also about to buy 13 BBH hemp fitted o/s for $286 on Darlings. Then all I have to do is buy a few more covers and that should cover the older boys for now. Will buy some more of whatever close to when newbie is born and probably after. I could use my BBH boosters in the fitteds right?

Anna - Get the LS!!! $80 is the cheapest I have seen (and I have been looking) Reece plumbing sell it for $130 :o and I have seen it for $95 on another site. I have one on layby that I will be paying off when money from SIL arrives in my account (she is finally making a payment for her car!!)
Do you want to have a look at some nappies? I have a few Fitted, AI2 snapins that i lay another booster in for night use, some prefolds, and some covers. and of course you already know pockets.

i wash babys clothes every other day, but our clothes dont get a washin for a week!! but thats mainly cos i wash nappies thou.
ETA- this is evil...more nappies to buy!! im not sure whether my subscription to these stores were a great idea LOL.

nurture nappies had 10% off storewide until last night... and that included the LS, which from memory would be $80 there normally. Less if you get a package of bumGs or whatever. Couldn't get on BB tho! I wouldn't be without mine, and I shudder to think how sposies users get the poop off. urk.

I personally dont like hemp BBH's...they smell to quickly for me and get to stiff and cardboardy.

As for NB covers......I know you all go one about Rikki's cause of the gussets...but how many other covers are there that are as good? Dont tot's bots have gussets to? Why are gussets so important?

Maz, my hemps are soooo soft and slinky now. They're the old ones, the hemp jersey or whatever, not the fleece, but after initially being hard I find they're getting softer again...perhaps they're falling apart, hehe. Nah, they're lovely. My bamboos get crunchy though. Hopefully they'll get soft too...
Are MandyMacs still help jersey or terry or whatever it is?

*Boo* Just had an attempt at Christmas Shopping... I had 2 hours without Matilda.... *groan* Every dog, cat and horse is out there today... I got most done!! Thanks Oxfam shop!!! I caved and did get some plastic toys... its been a long time since the girls have gotten something plastic, so hope it goes okay.

Maz, I have my eye on your breastpads. I was going to buy the throw away ones but yours look so lovely and soft! As for the covers, I adore the licorice one but it isnt a newborn size. I love all the colours you use but I always feel weird about using bright colours on the boys, like someone will think I have girls. But Im so into bright stuff. I can wait til your break is done, you enjoy christmas without having to work :)

maz - I'm channelling Gigi and Nelle here... gussets are good for containment and especially as a second line of defence for NB explosions... and for skinny legs. Not that I'd know ANYTHING about skinny legs. Thirsties and Bummis also do gusseted covers, and Tots Bots, but the sizing of them seems a bit weird to me. They're very wide in the crotch.

Gussets give a better fit at the legs, and I find because the elastic tends to be thinner than on un-gusseted PUL covers, you feel okay about doing them up nice and tight, because they don't leave marks. You wouldn't get a marks problem with your fleece covers I don't think, but I love gussets for PUL covers. Nana said who do gussets, I think Imse Vimse *might* do gussets too? And Bambineo?
Tots Bots sizing is large, BUT the PUL is very thin and so material in the middle is just puffy, not bulky at all.
It might be worth trying a gusseted cover Maz, it's best described by actually seeing one in action. I'll have a hunt around and see if I have any to lend that I can spare, but I can't think of any that aren't in high demand here. I'll have a looksee though.

OK understand gussets now (I think) so there more on PUL covers and not fleecies?? Cant use PUL on the Mat miaster...he's NR straight away due to none circulation :( I dont know why but it just happens when I use PUL covers...Ive had to part with BBH, tots bots and now it looks like my berry plsuhes :cry: I have 6 of them! Ive never had explosions with me covers so ive always stuck to them....me likes this gusset thing though :)

Nelle - once bitten twice shy..isnt that the saying. I had the older BBH hemps...and the other thing I had with them was that Vy reacted to the hemp...but nice to hear that they are better now

Ive jsut been naughty and ordered more minkee...3 firm smacks...more cheetan and nioce bright RAINBOW colours so I can make my little buy a special cover for his birthday. I was thinking of making him one in the rainbow strips with a big sun on the bum..cause I always called him my sunshine when he was in utero...ah those were the days

Argh poor Ashtons bum is soooo red! Its all painful and he has been so sooky :(
I hate that he is allergic to everything. Last night I had him back in his BBH/BBB only and it's looking better, keeping him in that today and hopefully it will clear up...
All because I love d'lish so bad and though he was over it ...
