Ali - hard to say until you find out what is causing the blisters?
what do they look like?

PP they are tiny, like about 1 mm across on the actual blister part but the red raised bit is 5mm across on each. There are quite a few of them too. She is not liking being wiped. We are not using fragrances on her either.

Ali, sometimes that Iodine stuff cotton balled on helps us. I think it helps fight any infection.

I think you can do a one off nappy san wash without too much drama. From what I understand it is the build up of it with constant use that causes rashes. Maybe do an extra rinse seeing as she is having issues with rash atm.

Anna sounds like a good stash you've got there :) I've been using prefolds fanned out at the back and fixed with a snappi.

Jodi WOW you must just about have shares at BBH with that lot ;) I have a few but not that many!

When DD had blisters on her bottom it turned out to be hand foot and mouth. the hand and feet and mouth came later???

Jovie's been having bad poos this week, 4-5 a day and not quite formed. We trialled her at the end of last week & beginning of this week with bananas... so that must be it. Now she has terrible nappy rash & its rained for 3 days, so I have 2 nappies left! I will have to ring someone to get them to pick me up some sposies now... My clothes dryer died when we moved here and I haven't replaced it yet. My friend is giving me hers on the weekend! So I think I will have to resort to sposies until the nappies dry. I don't understand this poo thing though.... its terrible. Her last banana was Monday... and we are still having repurcussions today. Stupid food intolerances!!! *groan*

christy - Emily did the same thing banana, pooed for days afterwards, and had an upset tummy.
Do you have a laundromat nearby to dry your nappies in maybe?

pp - eeewwwwwwwwww! I can just imagine what has happened to that itti bitti.

Well Emily has a bbh magical (surprise surprise!) on, and she's been asleep for 3 hours now, wonder if the wee will be contained until she decides to wake.

Jodi hun I can't bring Matilda into a laundromat... I may bring the nappies to MIL's but that would mean having to sit there all arvo....

It's raining here too & i am NOT sure how many nappies i have left... we do have a dryer BUT it is broken!!!! i have a clothes horse FULL of cloth nappies!!!! My MIL has adryer BUT i won't go there to use it!! i can't stand her :( so i shall just have to suffer :(

dont worry even if you were still uphere you will need a dryer as it is raining and overcast.
we have been trying TT with ash she has been good and telling us when she needs to poo but with the quantity and well up quality of that one she prob didnt have time. ewwwww

btw - 5th jan is ashy start date with LIz . :) she loves liz' dogs hehe

PP - It COULD be that!! She has a spotty rash around her mouth too. Better make a Dr appointment. How do they diagnose it?

I better go do the opposite of my tag line :( We are going out tonight and I am expecting my area manager to come by with a delivery tomorrow.

they dont really 'diagnose' as such as it is viral and by the time they can get any results it would have passed. I think ashleys lasted a good 1- 2 weeks then just went away.
has she been having fevers as well?

It did hold the wee! Now she looks like a boy, She's in a blue magical (yep, another magical :lol:) and a grey singlet!

PP - She has only been in contact with most of the same kids as Sarah and Sarah has not been sick or spotty. The pox have been going around again but in most not as severe. I am happy to post my email addy considering you can see it on another site that is public viewing - ali@cushietushies.com.au
