katones your not the only one :( Ashton had a temp from pretty much late yesterday arvo (his needles were at 1pm) and is still miserable and hot :( Dymadon ALL day and he is just crying, sooking and sleeping. Oh and feeding a fair bit too. Poor bub. Must be the 4 month ones cos he was fine with the 2 month ones :(
Maz I was quoting and I wrote stuff so I have no idea what happened! After I hit post BB went down AGAIN AS BLOODY USUAL and it's starting to bloody annoy the crapola out of me!

So today I finally did my nappies. I have been SO lazy the last 3 days and not washed at all! But it was hot today, and I had a clingy whingy Ashton so wasn't going anywhere spectacular so that was what I did... Got sick of reaching for the 'crappy' nappies that I never use.

i took five years to conceive bilbs, and many many times during the pregnancy, i felt like a fraud, like i wasn't really pregnant. It wasn't until she was earthside, that i really believed she was real.

Proud Mama moment: in her bath today, bilby was wiggling around, clearly trying to hold a wee, so dh put her on the potty, and for the first time, instead of wiggling to get up immed, she actually sat there, and did a wee in the potty! we clapped her like crazy people, did high fives. She got two star stickers and a baby cone of organic icecream as her reward. and got to flush the loo. So she's very chuffed with herself.
Is anyone EC-ing or TT-ing a young or small bubby girl? i have a size 2T pair of starbunz learners here, in pink, they are too small for my 11.5kg, 46cm waist bilby. so if your little girl is smaller than that, and you're tt-ing/ec-ing, they could be yours - LMK at g.j@internode.on.net - they're in excellent condition. I just saw animal backpacks at a aust site that sells teddybears mainly (e-teddies), the brand is ZEBRA CROSSING. email me for a link if you have trouble finding it. they have kids backpacks in crocodile, dog, COW, ELEPHANT, lamb, all sorts of animals. Unfortunately the cow one is also PINK maz. but maybe they get other colours too, who knows.

Not really TTing here Gigi, cant be bothered fighting with Ds1 right now lol But so typical of my life - Ds2 who is all of 13mths plopped himself on the potty before bathtime last night and pee'd. Could I possibly be the only mother who's youngest could TT before the oldest :lol:

Anna - mateauz looks down at his pee pee when he wee's and is starting to grab at his crotch and bum when things come out of those ends.......I dont want him out of nappies yet...what will I buy then :(

Yeah Rip has started grabbing his nappy when its full too but I just ignored it cause Jett does it as well but no sign of TTing there *sigh* Might have been luck but we'll pop him on the potty before bathtime everynight and who knows. OMG imagine if they trained at the same time - Jett and Rip - one part of me swoons at the thought but another sooks for the loss of MCNing them hehehe

Just found out my LS cost me more than the $80 I paid for it. I went down to the ABA shop - 30 mins from here to get it - and got a $143 speeding fine on the way home. :wall:That equals about 4 or 5 nappies that I can't buy :(
Not much happening here. Trying to avoid the heat. Apparently its about 46 outside here. I went out to get my washing off the line cause it's looking too smokey. Fortunately no nappies out there. They were done yesterday.

Hey wonderful ladies - thanks so much for all your suggestions & hints re our nappy issues over here.
Mel, I think your situation was very similar to what is going on here, have ordered some bamboo velour AND raw silk for liners & will was everything yet again with no detergent. As for wipes might just make some dodgey ones out of flannelette as I don't have the $$$ to buy any cloth ones atm... wish me luck ladies!!

Anna - Nah, it was nae the dettol, that was like a 'last resort' kind of wash, the red was happening anywho.
Ugh, it's cooled down some outside but it's still stoopid hot inside..... my kingdom for an air conditioner!!!
WOPB: What else but a sposie?! :( (I cannot believe all the time I took being able to use cloth for granted... it's like when you're sick & have to stay in bed & you regret not getting out & doing more when you were well, that's what I'm like now with MCN!!!)
Have you noticed how when a baby is wearing sposies they smell differently? DS has been in sposies yesterday (long story) and I noticed I can smell the plastic and chemicals of the nappy much more strongly than his sweet baby smell. I don't like it!:(
Anyway, off to hospital I go (that's the long story).
