LS - poop sounds ewwwwyyy! But it has happened here once or twice too. I guess if it continues, and there's anything else bothering DD and you're worried, get it checked out. Not to be paranoid, but I know fatty poop is a symptom of coeliac disease, but it stinks and there would probably be a tummy pain to go with it. Not really mucousy or gelatinous like you said. Hope she's ok!
re the side snap thing, I'm gonna be calling the BP/SB etc type ones "hip snaps" for now. Just because :) I'm confused enough already!
Anyone know of some nice adult versions of babylegs? I'm cold, and all my stripy knee-high socks are in the wash...

Well I lugged the 25 nappies (it weighs 4 kilos) through the shops into the PO today to be told I had to pay for the psotage to send it back because I had opened it. The woman was so rude saying well why did you open it if its not for you....WTF its got my name on it!!! Oh well I emailed CT and I'll pay postage and they will reimburse me.

CM/BG I got my moogoo today it does smell awesome!!! I also ordered the anti aging cream and the cleanser. My skin feels so good already!

LS - has your DD had a cold or cough at all lately? if she has, it's possible she's been swallowing snot and/or phlegm back down and her body hasn't been able to process it properly (sorry, read your post ages ago and only just got to comment, so if you mentioned that, oops!)

Have taken her off milk, going to see if I can find Goats Milk in hick Mandurah. Might be better on her tummy. She just seems to be bent on weaning, so will have to find out what is causing it.

our trip was "almost" fully manageable with cloth, except there were times when the weather didnt co-operate being a lil humid so things felt damp regardless. Also had to use sposies on the last few days before coming back home as nappies wouldnt have dried in time. My poor baby got a nappy rash from using sposies. Im not sure whether it was the sposie or the poo which he made that caused it but its nearly all cleared now :) Since starting to eat solids, Dragon poo has become more pasty so looks like i'll be investing into a Little Squirt now. Pity i had close to no internet overseas otherwise i wouldve bought one during the DGUNH, oh wells...

OK so i took the plunge and i brought a CT from Arimeh's (mel)...... although i have to pay for it still... and some Cute little baby legs... We have heaps of these already.... DO they come in abigger size??? I got a heap from a Big W Sale. they are a bit tight at the top of DD's legs. Also there getting a bit short on her...
I also got a Daddle Do AI2 beautiful Hot Pink and Red flowers on it... I was shocked to see stock ready for purchasing cos so many time i check and no one has anything or the ones i want seem to be clicked away very super fast... so after months of trying to get the ones i really want i decided just get some... its so addictive and now i cant stop... i am still using my flats but hope to soon be usung MCN's...
Also my Maz Nite Nap is on its way... Thats for the email Maz... I SOOOO cant wait to get it...
Ahhhhhhhh crap!!! Dh is gonna find out about the LL NN!!! Who wants to be my excuse? He should be home tonight if the paperwork is done fast enough. At least my bigger kids will be back in cloth with daddy home. I don't mind sitting in bed putting nappies together.
Maz - my pelvis gave up over the weekend, and the physio wants me in a bed that moves with one of those triangle things to move when I need to. She should be bringing a different brace and a walking frame down today. I am on panadine forte so they need to be careful that Leah doesn't get a codine addiction.

On a nappy related note, does any body else's child react to Greenkids? I have some for DS which I don't use all that often but whenever I do he comes out in a little red rash. It doesn't happen for any other nappy and I wasn't 100% sure if it was the Greenkids causing it or just a coincidence but it happened again this week and now I'm sure it was the nappy that did it. Poo.
Eugenia - yep my DD reacts to green kids and also to magicalls, I think they use a different synthetic inner to other nappies, they certainly feel different.

Have washed my Cushie Tushies and just waiting for them to dry now. Hoping some more fluffy mail will be arriving today. I am waiting on two Maz covers from The Nappy Bucket...and some green kids/Happy heinys/baby legs and a wet bag from Mel and some baby legs off eBay.

Ali - ask your physio to organise from the hospital a Bed Stick. It like S shaped metal pole with a en turned up. Goes under the mattress and the pole sticks up along side the bed to help you pull yourself up and move whilst in bed.
She should know what iit is - be able to get it through the occupational therapist at the hospital. :hug: Hope the bed rest helps huni

I think I have a problem....last night every time I closed my eyes all I could see was nappies!! I woke at 4am after having a nightmare that the post office burnt down with with all my new nappies inside.:crying:

Question time. Do you think it would be safe to use some barrier cream on DS's butt if I put copious amounts of liners in the nappy? I don't have any sposies, and don't want to buy them or the man of the house will use them instead of MCN like the lazy butt he is. I've ordered some moogoo, but obviously it's not here yet. (actually my sister is buying me some in Brisbane and putting it in a package she has to send me anyway)

who's reacting? we cant use suedecloth or fleece unless its lined with silk. my baby ****s on silk (say that with a posh pommy accent lol). of course i realised this after i had bought pretty much everything made of the fleece/suede.
question for you all - i have been debating about keeping my bum g's for ages thiking that - they might fit next bubba with no reaction and or if laaa goes to preschool/day care they would be good to chuck in her bag. Or would they? WDYT??
eta - PB - i just wet haf of the wipe - 99% of the time that is enough - with just some warm water, get rid fo the mess and then pat dry her butt with the other end

PB - cloth wipes - I have a few (about 8) really really good ones, the rest I cut up an old flanelette shirt and a sheet, so I use them to get the crap off, and then wipe away the water with the good one :) I have one of those huggies wipes containers that I put warm water into (so they have something nice and warm on their butt instead of cold water!) and just dunk the wipes as I need them :)

I have to say my D'lishes are still like new. I love them! They arent faded, the elastic is perfect, the boosters are ace (Although my living in a shoebox unit ATM and no sun or clothesline means they are a little discoloured :( )

Some of you have mentioned nappy rash with your magicalls... are they suede cloth?? Kane gets a bad blistery rash,like popped pimples, just occasionally, and wondered if it was from these? I noticed the lining is different... most of his others, CT (fleece?) and IB are different...
His rash will start to really clear,then be back with a vengence suddenly.... must take note of which nappies he has on.... :think:

My ib's have been our main work horses for the last 8 months so Im really not worried that they arent as pretty at they once were. Its not the outters either...they still look new on the outside....its the inside....they are have gone a greyish colour and the pooh stains just wont fade out anymore. Just waiting until the new ones come out to nab a few

Cloth wipes - I keep mine dry in a basket near the sink so when I get up to grab a nappy I just wet the wipe and go - usually only need one or two if it's super disguisting. I did try keeping them wet but they went mouldy and the ants got in them (love tropical living)
CM - I have a tonne of bum creams here that were trials when we had our business. Ari hardly ever gets rashes so they don't get used. All hyginicly used as testers so let me know if you want me to drop one round till your moogoo arrives
argh! 2 poopy nappies in one day! How did I deal with this before?? It's DISGUSTING! Poor DS is teething (again. still. always, it seems...) and had an upset tummy. All of a sudden he started wailing and looked at me with the saddest, most frightened look on his face. Poor kid had a poosplosion without having time to tell me "doddy" (he can't say potty yet!) and it caught him unawares.
ummm.... wipes. I have a basket of dry ones too, and since my change table isn't near a sink I have a small thermos of warm water and a bowl nearby. (our place is cold!) Splash a little water on the wipe over the bowl. I use a pack of cheapy Mothers Choice face washers from Kmart. Had some other brand from Kmart too, but the overlocking was some nasty poly stuff that accumulated lint and fuzz in the wash so badly that I chopped it off and re-hemmed them myself. Also I have some regular face washers that I backed with flannel. They're good for big messes, like this morning's one!
maz - I'm always wearing those crazy striped knee hi socks in cold weather. They've all got holes in the toes now tho, so I was just gonna chop them off, have my own babylegs to match DS's!
