Well excitement plus...I should have 2 lots of fluffy mail arriving this week EEEEK talk about excited. Still getting a few odds and ends sent to see what will fit DS, have some BBHs on the way and couldn't resist the itti bittis on clearance. I wish they had more boys colours though, ended up just getting the black. Oh, and a moo moo limited edition :redface: So many pretty girl ones....! Even though he's only a little bub, the large IBs seem to fit him HEAPS better, mainly for the higher rise.
rhyb am I reading correctly that you have 3 little bubbas on the inside???? Man, that is exciting.
I want some warmer weather to help get stuff dry *SIGH*

:boohoo: No GF's for me for a while, last week it was the dog at the vets with a $450 tick on it. This morning at 4 I get up to go pee and the cat is staggering around the place like a drunken sailor. It has a tick too. So early morning mercy dash to vets + extended stay = no fancy embriodered Genesa Forge nappies for a while.
Rhyb, more nosey questions :lol: is there a date, they wont let you go past, or is it wait and see how they all cope as you go? And can you really feel them move individually, ie, can you tell which one is which or is it just all jumbled up?

MLM I asked them today and well the hospital has no idea at this point lol. Girls are all growing well so theres no rush at this point no issues with TTTS or me not coping *fingers crossed* so theyre gonna push it as far as they can so hopefully they wont have a huge stay in the NICU/SCBU. I can tell the difference when its Baby A kicking (shes on her own with her own placenta). Babies B and C often lie ontop of one another and share a placenta so its hard to know whos who lol.
Lollybaby Im excited Ill have 4 in cloth cz noway is DS anywhere near TT nor will he be for along time. (Average age for TT is 2.5- 3 ish isnt it?)

RHYB: bubs toilet train at different ages. i know people who are or have ec'd their bubs from birth (Elimination Communication) which is a form of toiletting.
i know people who have used the "3daypottytraining" ebook too, and trained their child in three days. You stay home for three days straight, follow the method and your child is tt-d by day four.
bilby started showing signs at around 27months, and was trained by 28 months. (2.5 is 30 months). so the age can vary heaps.
Toilet training a child, by yourself, when pregnant (not to mention preg with triplets!!), would be a whole new kettle of fish. i have no clue about that. Unless you have someone in real life, who would stay at your home for three days, to do this for you.
But having potties around the house, (to familiarise the child with them, get them used to sitting on them for other activities, e.g drawing, reading) and inviting them to sit on the potty before and after the bath for example, can help introduce the concept. (once child is old enough to walk well and sit themselves on the potty). Lifting them up and down from the loo i think might be too much for you, but you can get potty aids like a little ladder, and BIG steps. again, depends on the height of your child. i did alot of lifting at the start, due to having very short toddler, and when she DID get the potty concept, after three days, she wanted to use the loo and NOTHING ELSE!
even though we didn't do Elimination COmmunication, i got heaps of ideas from teh EC site called TRIBAL BABY to help me toilet train bilby (i had no clue).
we have white rental carpet and no real safe outdoor space, so i got her waterproof trainers too, that meant damp clothing at the worst, but no puddles on the floor - so the carpet didn't get wrecked. no loss of bond. phewl.
you know your own body, what you can cope with and what you can't, i found tt-ing involved alot of bending and squatting down, being camped out in the loo cajoling, hi-fiving and lots of false starts, false alarms etc (so if you do it, leave steps/chairs around for yourself). it was an intense time, but now she's trained. so only you can make the call.
that is so cool that you can tell, when the different bubs are kicking, aw!!!

rhyb - I can't imaging buying fluff for 3, the mountains of fluffy mail that will be heading your way must be such an exciting thing to look forward to! if i was you though, i would try and stick to a few types - just to make washing and hanging easier! (that is of course, if you are as anal as me - i use all the same ones within one wash, and when I hang them out i actually sort them out first, so they are all little soldiers on the line) it does make putting them away much easier!
mlm - how dare animals muck up your GF plans?! ha
speaking of GF - those bamboo veour fitteds she was doing, anyone try any? I am thinking of asking her if she would do a bamboo velour fitted night nappy.....

Aidens in sposies for today cz we had a massive case of diarreha (mind you hes been sick and hasnt pooed for 4 days) that ended up everywhere so Im being lazy today. Dont know how Id go with those poos in cloth

TT - each to their own...i refused to be a slave to is and just let my kid's guide me. I found it much easier then feeling like I was failing when my child didnt wee on command. N and V tt just after their 2nd birthdays, W when he was 4 and M ...well that's still to be established. Then im not one to go by a book so sorry to go against the grain.
Binboo - dont talk to me about that dust...we drove through it and somehow it got into the luggage bag on the car roof and into my nappies up there. not happy.
And guess which **** gave her son panadol whilst away in QLD and forgot to take liners with her and now had 2 badly stained GF's and auriels :dooh:

Rhyb - I forgot how expensive sposies were until I had to buy some for when we moved down and all my cloth was packed in a box (well ok, the whole stash was in 3 boxes, but anyhoo) and just having two in them was sooo expensive!!!!! Definitely not within our budget now that we are on the one income :(
Better go have my nightly cup of RLT and have DH rub my poor aching legs for me. Such a shame he can't rub my SPD away - stupid stupid body is falling to bits. Too old for this pregnancy bizzo!!!

i was attempting to say, in my last post, that toilet training is very unique to each child (at which age they do it and how they do it), and each family's situation. I really didn't mean to imply that there was "one way to do it" or anything like that. I really hope i haven't offended anyone.
No Gigi I just use the hose with DS :redface: Dont really have a budget for much (hence why Im online heaps never go anywhere lol) so thats classed as a luxury item.

Awww Gigi, dont beat yourself up luffs, how could anyone take offence with you?. I dont think anyone is cranky. LOL, I recon I will be almost sadder than you when lil man TT's. Although I must admit, proper food #2's are different to just formula #2's and we havent thrown meat into the mix yet, so far its just herbivore pants. May change my mind down the track :p
Oh my golly gosh, I think I may be in for "one of those days" lil man ate/drank bugga all yesterday so I bailed him up in his bed last night and managed to stuff 1/2 a bottle down his throat, then he woke up at 3 and we gave him more, then he woke at 4.30 and played for a bit (by himself, in his cot ;)) then got up at 6. At 7 he refused brekky and started yelling and sucking his thumb (cue sleep) so now he is back in bed yelling some more. Doncha just love it when you start the day with a grumpy kid?
Best go do some work while I can.
