I have an excellent stash of small MAL covers now! Am currently in DDs room putting stuff together (bookcase to house the nappies) and I bought a change table yesterday - I didn't think I would 'need' one cause there are so many places to change a baby and so many people told me they hardly used theirs but OMG my back is so sore after only 11 weeks so I bought a change table and hoping not to regret it

Got the skittles cover and my bps and Miss Maz snuck in 3 custom covers she did as a pressy with their names embroidered on their little bums! Cant wait to get pics of them in those!

Same! researching before this batch of huggies runs out though, so not impressed with the "new design" and they smell like harsh chemicals. I have enough with my lil one's pink bottom in the morning without trying some that could irritate her worse.:

are your babies heavy wetters? frequent wakers? E doesn't wet heavily over night so i don't need a flash night nappy! she just wears a spunky butts fitted with a MAL cover and we never get leaks. she doesn't wake often (which is great for us) - but when she does wake, i just change her bum. she has gone 10 hours in that combo and not wet through! don't be frightened of night nappying - give something like that a go - if it doesn't work, you know you need more boosting and work from there...
Ahh I'm so sick of the blow outs here! The kids have just turned into HUGE drinkers, which in turn makes them HUGE wetters. Miss M blew out in a Bumg in about 50 minutes, Aricyn blew out a BBB and maz cover (Amazingly) in about an hour...
NaNa - i get called "alternative" amoungst my frineds and a few ignorants .. because of the choices i make for my family ....
recently we bought 5 dozen free range organic eggs for $10 !!!! and then a firend saw the size of them ( med size) and said ... "what a waste of money , you can get XL eggs at woolies for $2 & they would be 3 times the size "

Heavy wetter overnight, BIG TIME! have had a huggies with beads of wee on top because been so full on regular occasions. I have to be careful how much i boost her bum too because she still gets the odd bout of reflux. Have cot matress raised slightly to stop it but if i put bulky clothes on her she'll vomit and get upset in the night.:
Does she wake often? Not anymore (bless her) after the first 9 weeks of average 90 min blocks of sleep/90 min blocks play routine I think I earnt a good nights sleep :p She will be asleep a good 11 hours. wake 6am for bottle and bum change and go back to sleep. She does wake frequently in the night but as soon as she hears Daddy's snoring she's back to sleep without prompting.
In sposies today so I can take my fluff to melb. have to go out Sunday to meet realtor before we catch plan (*sigh*) so will have to pack tomorrow and need fluff to be dry. Was so hoping for a sleep in but need to get up 5am now.........
WOCB: Sposie because have to make sure stash is 100% dry before flight east on sunday. Thinking I might crack and put a couple of mcn on her to ease my fluff shakes though and try dry them mega quick tonight or tomorrow.
Bought a Bumblebee GF and another DFM last night :) Stalking my postie like mad!
hehe! my parcel postie thinks i'm a whack job! She laughs at me every time and tells me how hypo i am!
DD isn't a huge wetter overnight... her sposies are heavy but not leaking but she is sleeping 6+ hours most nights. I am like you BG if she wakes during the night I will change and feed her but other than that I am thankful for the sleep. I do have a spunky butts and I have many MAL covers... I may take the plunge next week... we will see :redface:

Will take nappies to melb wet (washed, not piddley) and rewash when i get there I think

Fluffy mail! 2 Genesa Forge super night nappies, currently drying from first prewash. I hope these are enough for her...
I'm wondering what's the deal with bamboo and prewashing for absorbency. If you don't need them to dry before you wash them again, what it is that makes 5-8 washes needed? Is it the amount of time in water, in which case could I get the same effect by leaving them soaking overnight? Or is agitation necessary? Our washing machine doesn't have a setting for low water level, so I don't really want to run it with just two nappies in several times! Any ideas from you lovely experienced cloth nappiers?
not 100% sure but I think it is to soften up the fibres and stress them a bit.
Stopping by to say hi! off to melbourne tomorrow and have a suitcase half filled with fluff! I just hope i packed enough clothing for the little one....

My cousin swears by Abby Gro nappies. I haven't been lucky enough to get any though
