Hi guys, I'm wanting some recommendations on cloth nappies for tiny babies. I've got twin girls coming end of sept/early Oct. Since my boys were mid 7lbs and high 8lbs I'm sure none of our current ones will fit at the start. I was thinking prefolds and gusseted covers would be the easiest to get a good fit. Welcome to brand suggestions and what you found worked and didn't work.
TIA!

Re: Cloth nappies
I found Baby Beehind petite II in one really handy when DD2 was small. They aren't bulky & sit snug against baby so less chance of leakage

Re: Cloth nappies
Hi angel pants, congrats on your twin girls - you are in for a roller coaster! My girls were born at 37w5d and 2.5kg each. When they were that little, we used prefolds and covers from the time we got home and they were brilliant. Once they grew out of the smallest size, we were pretty much good to go on our ofsm. Cloth nappies on twins was nowhere near as hard as people assumed it to be, my girls were in cloth probably 95% of the time. Good luck

Cool! I think you are the only person I've found so far that clothed from birth with twins, beannaithe! What brand prefolds and covers did you use we have some organic cotton prefolds that I've only really used as inserts because they don't stretch so I struggled to get them snugly pinned!

Re: Cloth nappies
We got ours of the snazzipants website (kiwi website as I'm in nz) and just got some of their starter packs. We washed every day and think we had about 30 - 35 prefolds and about 8 covers and we never ran out
