Must be the day for nappy fails. I heard the words "he's got poo on his hands" while hanging out the washing. He's undone the side snaps of his CT hemp fitted, got out of it, then poo'ed on the rug. I'd only put it on him 2 mins previously & I swear I'd done it up correctly. Time to put shorts or a cover on everytime I think as I knew he could undo velcro, didn't know he could do snaps.

HAHA! *Has visions of DP being swallowed by a tidal wave of poo* No, the tidal wave happened in the loungeroom but I caught it with a towel before the mojority of it landed. It was more like a mudslide really. It just worked out the DP turned off the shower and hosed her off with the attachment to the bath tap before resuming his shower. Her shoes even copped some so they got hosed too. Lucky it's over 40 today and they dried in 20 mins.
ETA: Snowy. DD did that about 2 times but hates making a mess so she soon decided it was a bad idea. She has however streaked outside after her bath and decided to poo au naturale on the grass.......
we had our first nappy fail here, only our one was a mummy's fault one, woke up and dd was soaked, had to strip her off and put her straight in the bath, then was her sheets, i thought she had flooded, till i put the nappies on.... compleatly forgot to put the night booster in the pea pod :doh:!!
Helle, i got one at the sale itti had, as she is getting to chunky for the medium dlish's (they only fit on the very last snap now:() so i grabed a tutto instead of getting a large dlish, then dd2 can use it aswell, i like there fit better then the dlish now, & for $30 including post, apparently still BN, cant go wrong!
****! MORE POO! I really have no idea why she is crapping so much. No abby gro fail this round but the whole inside of the nappy was smothered in it. What is it with her and decided she'll only crap in the minky lined ones? They are a B--TCH to rinse off!

DS did a poo every change until he was weeks and weeks old! then he went down to roughly one every other day.
DD is 20 months old Peanutter. This is really nasty because of solids lol! At least the MSM cream is stopping it attacking her skin this time. She seems a lot comfier!

Has been on for an hour or so & I think she's in the middle of her THIRD (!!!) poo for the day. Was hoping to see how long it lasted with wee's, lol. Oh well, should be interesting... I stuck the delicate delight on quickly this morning, not worrying about how tight it was, coz she'd only just poo'd & she went at it again, blowing it out the sides!!
Best go change her again. Don't mind the fit so far :)

I just scrunch mine until they soften Clover. Seems to work. I think someone else said rub them over the back of a chair to soften.
DD is still a poo factory and eating only bread, toast and crackers. No more nappy fails though so happy with that!

WOOHOO! Gastro has passed. DD is back to her usual self and I didn't run out of cloth! She ate a full dinner and kept it down and also drank a whole cup of toddler milk! She's current;ly prancing around the lunge room with her dad :lol:

I am just popping to ask a silly question or two :)
DD2 is almost 4 months old and in IB's, and I was wondering if I should be doing nappy free time to make it easier for her to learn to roll or whether she will just work it out with the nappy on?
DD1 didn't roll until over 12 months due to hypermobility, and she didn't fit into the cloth nappies we had bought for ages so never thought about it with her...

I think they just figure it out in their own time, regardless of nappy ... but we definately do no-nappy time too, to air him out :D
Vic, shouldn't be an issue with ittis, Mr c has trouble rolling with his night nappies on but they r huge...

Well Summer has no worries going side to side in her itti's. Hasn't tried going all the way over yet, but I reckon she will soon, no worries.

never had an issue with rolling here either.
DS is cutting his 8th tooth at the moment which means nappy rash! if it wasnt for the rash i wouldnt know he was teething! oh well lots of cream here at the moment

Thankyou all, I am going to do more NFT as she loves kicking her legs etc without the nappy, she's not trying to roll yet, but moves around a bit like a shrimp, bending her knees up and pushing :lol:

I loved when DD did that because she'd look so proud when she realised she'd moved. I used to give DD a lot of nappy free time just because she piddled so much and I thought airing her bits would do good.:
I put a load of nappies on last night and double rinsed them in case DP had missed and solid matter. It wouldn't be so bad because all her poos were like BFing poos yesterday. I'm so glad it's back to normal today although she's still a tad tired.

jazzy doesnt get a lot of nappy free time coz of her older brother but shes rolled from her tummy to her back with no issues Jamie walks funny with his night nappy on but he walked at 11 months no problems in cloth cant say for rolling coz he was a sposie boy also crawled in cloth

I have been having some issues with my beloved Widdlewuns :wall:
After no problems what so ever we are now having leakage all the time.
I have done strip washes but I think her shape is changing again so that may be the problem. Its between her legs that the majority of leaking is.
She is crawling now too so maybe those chunky thighs I love to squish are thinning out.
I hope not because I love WW. Anyone suggestions??
Also how do you ladies with a front loader do your strip washes? My machine doesnt have a soak option so I just turn it off when it is full and leave it for a while.

I would diiiiiiiiie without nappy free time. I even did it on the flight home from Melbs yesterday. Speaking of Melbs, I am so annoyed that we left a wet nappy behind - of course it had to be the CTBD, our favourite! Bummed. Will make the ILs wash and post. It'll be like fluffy mail, but we already own it!
I do have a girly pretty Bonnibuns print on the way. Have to try *very* hard not to spend the flood money on girly nappies.
