Go to their fb page and scroll down till you find a link direct to the sale items :)
I'd link you but I'm on my phone. They had heaps yesterday!
I asked and the sale is on hold for a few days, she is re-opening the sale this week
Oh ok cool :)
another ???. do you have to wash nappies in wet bag. or is it ok to do a load of just nappyies on their own
WOMB: sposie. still waiting for fluffy mail deliveries!!
wet bag i usually use in the nappy bag to put wet and dirty naps in just throw mine in the wash and if i need to wash the bag i turn it inside out HTH
WOMB: sposie almost a BBH night and maz cover for bed
WOSB: itti and almost a BBH night and maz cover :)
Lol Helle, thats what I was thinking!!!
WOCB: sposie cause she has a rash!! :( I think I need to change her more often during the day cause she has a yucky rash now on her bum..
:redface:oops i confused. im thinking of the same kind of bag you wash bras/underwear in. do they even exist for nappies??. lol.
I do my nappies sans bag but I make sure all the bits are unsnapped from the shell if they're AI2s. If you leave them snapped together they can pull on the elastic and reduce lifespan of the nappy. I'm realising the damage it does now because a few of my nappies have become slack in the elastic but they were all ones I purchased pre unsnapping bits iykwim. Pockets just unstuff or the stuffing/booster/trifold gets bunched up inside and doesn't wash properly. I've had to do loads again when I've forgotten to remove bamboo trifolds on the 2 BBH magicalls I have because the wee smell has stayed in the wash. DP used to constantly forget when we used night nappies with additional pockets for trifolds too and the load would STINK!
We have two massive mesh bags. Don't know where they came from though - they were left behind by previous tenants in our old flat. I use them for delicates though. My box of ecostore powder came with a little mesh bag, I use that for washing Ecobubs wool pockets so no velcro gets to them. Otherwise, I don't use a bag at all, and I don't have a liner in my nappy bin. I had wanted to, but I really don't need it, especially as this little girl only poos twice a week.
Last night we put snugglebug in a Bamboozle with a prefold as a booster, then a liner on top. Worked a treat, so bought use a bit of time for night nappies. Won't be long though!
Oh, and I counted yesterday. 64 nappies that are currently in use. Did not count the contents of the red box, which is anything too small or too big. Wow.
WONB: Owl print bambooty
64!!!!
You addict!!!! What a shame I don't have the store anymore lol
Haha!!! That's awesome :D
FLUFFY MAIL! Audax, they are soooooooooooo lovely! I got organic cotton flats at my door today :D
WOCB: Moogoo! I'd rather her pee everywhere then put a nappy over her teething burn. The potty is there if she wants it and she'll let me know
Yowies, CL (on th red bum, not the fluffy mail.) Noodle has a slightly red bum at the moment too, I think it started with that surprise poo the other day, and hasn't got better since her massive appetite surge this week, and being too busy feeding for NFT.
WONB: GNST (wooooooooooo first night nappy!) and some kind of cover.
C has a rash on her bum too!! :( sad... We are on our last sposie tonight so I am either going to have to buy some more tomorroe for the nights or go full time cloth, but we are going to Canberra friday so I will have to have them all clean and ready to go!
I got some bamboo fabric samples cause I am going to make my own wipes, so I was thinking one side a double loop terry and the other a flannel material? What is on everyone elses cloth wipes? I want one side to have like bumpy or raised material and the other side soft and smooth..
WOCB sposie to try to clear up her rash!!
mine are flannel and sherpa so nice lol maz made them
WOKB: sposies never again when i get the new night naps :)
Is sherpa that wool stuff on one side and like leather on the other? Like ugg boot material?
Sent from my iPhone so sorry for the spelling and punctuation!!
We have decided on a quick run down to coffs for Easter so I'm trying to decide whether to do the cloth thing or sposies.
He is on the borderline of going from NB huggies to infant size so I'm thinking we could get rid of our NB naps if we go sposies for the trip.
Go sposies then, Jaki. Use em up.
Bexie - raw silk liners can be good for bum rash. Or I use microfleece liners and a barrier cream, or I use earth child bottom balm (no moogoo here) and heaps of nappy off time.
It's a very pretty week here - all the less prcious nappies are packed and ready to go, so baby is only wearing her lovelies!
WONB - Little Britches pocket, I think. Her dad changed her, and there were some telltale dots showing through her PJs
We have 4 kinds of rash cream and the one that clears up W's bum the best, almost instantly tbh, is bepanthan. It was a gift, I never would have even bought it myself as I only associate it with tattoos. LOL
whenever DS gets a nappy rash i load his little bottom with sudocream and put a sposie on. he wears sposies at night at the moment as i need to get him some night nappies. we usually only get rash's here when he is teething. i reall hate teething for that reason!
WOHB - about to be a bbh petite coz he is starting to smell the room out lol
Where csn you get raw silk liners? I am usng biodegradbable liners now and putting on her daktozin cream to
Try to clear it up... Although it seems to make the nappy less absorbant
Wocb: sposie but about to be, hmm... Maybe a coconut Pop In?

Those new to the thread, just be wary of what nappy rash creams you use in a MCN. Certain creams (e.g Bepantahan and sudocream) will block up the stay dry liners on nappies. This means that when they get weed in, the wee will just run off and enter the soaking bit through the bottom. It means that you are more likely to have leaks. Once the stay dry liner is blocked with a thick nappy cream it's an absolute nightmare to get out properly. Petroleum based oinments (EG Lucas Pawpaw oinment in the red tub) and such will also cause PUL and elastics to deteriorate (plus they're downright NASTY). I learnt the hard way on a few of my older abby gro nappies. A good cream for nappy rash that is MCN friendly are Moogoo MSM cream. It's AWESOME stuff and if DD has the nasty teething burn on her little bottom it will stop it being red within an hour. Some people might have more to suggest. I didn't want people accidentally screwing up some of their fluff stash like I did!
WOCB: The greeny blue marbled Abby Gro. Actual minky colour name escapes my noggin right now!
if i use nappy rash cream i use a sposie. easier then ruining my lovely nappies! :D
Or just use a liner ;)
I'll never forget one of dd1's daycare ladies using another kids Sudocream on her and then putting her in a bumg. There was a thick paste of cream on the suedecloth, I was so peeved. Took me ages to scrub it off with a toothbrush. So very cranky! This was about 2 years ago and it still makes me cranky to think about it lol
Had a bright idea yesterday (*ding*) I need more nappies but budget is a bit tight so I thought I would ask Christie to make me some more inserts, instead of nappies! Because the shells dry quickly anyway, should be enough to get me through winter this way!!!! Although, ideally I would like to have around 20 larges cos both dd1 and dd2 will be in them soon.... And I'm sure dd3 will be in the mediums before I know it!!!
for those of you who use flats, what do you use (if you use at all) for liners? or aren't they necessary? As I said in my first post, I have a gazillion flats (ok about 60) but not sure if I should line them?
Arimeh - I remember that incident. Scrag was the word you used.
CL - at my daycare we had a communal pot of Sudocrem, supplied by the centre. You wear a clean glove to stick your finger in the pot, then throw the glove away. Not as horrific as you think.
I had some raw silk kicking around in my sewing drawer, so made some with a bit of that. I think you can buy them somewhere. Don't know. I mostly use microfleece liners, I cut them up myself out of Lincraft microfleece. We have about 6000 in this house, they're so handy.
mellybelly - I line my flats with microfleece liners. You don't have to use anything, but a liner makes it easier to get the poo off.
WONB: Navy fleece GF with a Tree of Life on her bum. Cute.
he is such a wiggle bot that its hard to get liners to stay put especially when trying to do up a nappy so its just easier to use a couple of sposies. he is in sposies at night anyway at the moment and i always put cream on at night regardless of whether he has a rash or not :D
is that one of the signs of addiction Arimeh? :D

wow thanks so much for that. im waiting on a big delivery of bumGs and i would have destroyed them!!! lucky i have some msm cream too!! :)
WOMB: still sposie, still waiting on fluffymail....
It's ok to use cream if you have a liner on it.. Just don't use cream without a liner cause it will ruin the booster/nappy.
I got my candies today!!! They are so pretty and I LOVE the colours!! Will be washing them today so we can use them tomorrow!! They are OSFM aren't they? they just don't have the snaps at the front like my ittis and pop-ins... So she might just be harry high pants! LOL
WOCB: Silver meduim SIO itti
i ordered candies the same day, and i dont have mine yet. :( waa waaaa waa
ahh, i feel a buying urge coming on.... abby gro just announced nappies are being listed tommorow and more after easter....
WOKB: pea pod
