this is our DM stash HERE
:) jazzy is having a farting session so she will definately have a new nappy very soon lol
I wouldn't have had a chance washing MCNs for the first 8 weeks of Pixie's life. She had really horrible undiagnosed reflux, sleeping 3 hours a night (not during the day at all) and vomiting on EVERYTHING. I had no clean clothes to wear on a daily basis and was lucky to be able to shower most days.
Awesome stash TripleJ!
Right, DD is about to have her first night in cloth, let's see how we go.
WOOB: Bamboo BBH with PUL cover
WOAB: Bamboo BBH with wool soaker
Oh, and... even though DS is 2.5 years and DD is 2.5 months their nappies do up in the same spot! Scary!
not scary at all jamie is still wearing nappies he got at 8 months on the same setting and hes 2 and 2 months
i think its coz babies are chunkier than toddlers even though they are heavier and taller lol
we had a leak in our wooly nights coz i forgot to put on of the inserts in lol found it when i was folding nappies
WOMB: BBH night and maz cover and woolies lol extra protection at night
WOJB: issy bear nights
Crystal - BBFs are the loveliest naps. I only have one, it's part of a dress-nappy set, but I love using the nappy. Getting towards growing out of it now though :(
I had help with washing in the early weeks, DH was awesome at it and really helped keep on top of stuff. Also, I was just friggen determined to do cloth, mostly to stick it up the naysayers. Including SIL who referred to me as lazy when DD was 5 weeks old  and who didn't do cloth herself. Bought them, then sort of used them as a token gesture. Stoopid.
Hubby was pretty excited with our fluff haul from today. The Huggaluggs are sooooo cute.
Speaking of Huggaluggs, I never got that Fluffy Lime order. My PMs and emails are still being ignored.
Thats no good Audax. Amazing how many people this seemd to be happening to laely :(
I saw the most divine naps on the BBF fb page. there is one with birds appliqued on it - so gorgeous
I started a thread but should just ask you lovely ladies - where is the best place to get pretty naps < $40??
Audax - can you write on her business wall on fb?
I had lots of dm's at one point - no idea where they went!!! ;)
Fluffy mail today!!! 2 nappies from my friend Robyn who ran "oh how gorgeous" she isn't doing them any more but gosh they are lovely - and were only $15 each brand new! Score!!! Wondering if I can get her to do more for me lol!!!
Oh and for anyone looking for new nappies - my friend erin is having a stocking soon - next week I think? She has lolly bottoms (can find on Facebook) and runs my my my as well. I have a tester of her's which is really good :)
Womb: twinkle lily super nights and llamajamas longies
Woeb: twinkle lily super nights and random longies
Wosb: ctbd (love these!) and a Maz cover I think -DH dressed her
Yay!! I am back from WA. Cloth'd the whole way and it was fine! Except one of my almost new ittis broke :( they are sending me a new one so its ok. Lol! I got 2 more cgrs while i was away, the butterfly and the oriental butterfly! And 3 mediums and 1 large got delivered while i was gone to so now i think i have 11 plus the 2 coming. Yay!!
I tried out our first disana last night, changed her when we got home around 10:30pm into a gnst, extra bbh trifold and the disana cover (which comes up to her armpits! Lol). I didnt change her this morning before her nap at 11:30 cause i forgot and was used to 20-45 min naps, but she slept for 5hrs!!!!!!!!! I felt sooo bad!!! Thinking she was goin to have a nasty rash and be soaked when i did finally get the change her at 4:30 thid afternoon, but some parts of her nappy were still dry!!!!! :o i was soo shocked and now i am completely converted to wool covers! They are amazing!!!! No rash, she wasnt even close to being soaked! Love them!
Too much chattin to catch up on but hope everyones fluff is going well! Lol
Wocb: bbh fitted and disana cover.

Crystalwings- by pretties you mean with embroidery? I've not seen any under 40 except 'my mcn's'. I've got one custom, the minky is soft and gorgeous. But the embroidery is coming apart a bit (it's near new, worn twice) and I hate the snaps. They are very small and fiddely.
But... For $28 the nappy is a decent fit and I've not heard any other complaints, if I was to order another I would get Velcro instead of the snaps. And snap in booster not pocket.
Wowb- pumpkin pop in
I haven't really seen any around for under forty, except mymcns, but a few around the $40-$45 mark...but then if you add postage...
Agree with the snaps on mymcns. Although first time I put dd in it she had it on for an hour then fell asleep.....for 5 hours!! I thought she'd wake up soaked but it was fine :) it had had one wash and one rinse.
I want a frilly ruffley type nappy, but either miss out all the time or the ones available I dont like :( need to start searching more thoroughly for summer lol
WOCB - Red 'real nappies' Setup. They were at the baby expo, not a huge fan appearance wise but they did overnights ok the one other time I've tried so we'll see!
CL - i didnt use cloth in the first 8 weeks either as DS was premmie and all the ones i had bought prior to him being born were far too big for him so we had to use sposies. i didnt know about prefolds at that stage either and we didnt really have the money for me to go out and get more cloth. anyway my friend is only 15 weeks pg at the moment but when she said she couldnt even keep up with the washing i was shocked! how is she going to cope when a baby comes along. the only help i had was from DH in the first couple of weeks after DS came home then i was on my own.
no new fluffy mail here. just waiting for my name to come up on the custom list for envious. i really love our 2 envious naps that i have here. looking forward to getting some more. she posted the other week that she is now putting a limit on how many customs as people were ordering too many for her to keep up with the list. i think the limit is either 2 or 3 nappies now. fingers crossed my name comes up soon!!!!
Teresa I am on the envious list and there are 4 pages ahead of me lol.
I couldn't cope with contemplating cloth until dd was 6 weeks old. I had sooo many nb nappies leftover from dd and as gifts I didn't have to buy any!
Mel the oh how gorgeous nappies are so nice! Have been following her on fb for a little while but always miss out. Her custom spot in that same auction went for about $70 so too much for me!
I'm fairly sure I got my custom Fluff E Stuff fattycakes for under $40, though not by much. I can't remember the exact price, but it was probably around $38 each - but yeah, then there's postage on top of that.
I didn't use cloth with DS until he was about 4-5 months - I hadn't decided which way I wanted to go when I was pregnant and I didn't want to put any additional pressure and washing on myself. But once I settled into my groove as a mum I felt I could do it, so started building my stash.
With DD, I knew I wanted to use cloth, but for the first month or so she was in sposies - same again, I wanted to settle into being a mummy of two without adding any pressure to myself. Plus, I didn't have many nappies for her and am only now building up her stash.
First night in cloth for DD was okay - though I'm still learning what will work through trial and error. She did wake up wet this morning, but I think it had only just happened, as through the night when I was up feeding her she was still fine. I think if I try just a bamboo BBH with the wool soaker again I will add a booster or two and see how that goes.
WOOB: Yet another hemp BBH with a maz cover (all his other nappies are waiting to be put together)
WOAB: A sposie (for some reason DH put her in one, no idea why)
mel i love the lolly bottoms but im too poor to buy any :( i love the ruffle strawberry one i think it is
WOMB: pooo about to be changed if i can catch him
WOJB: GK
Second night with DD in cloth was a success! I guess she just needed that extra booster - her nappies are absolutely soaking in the morning!
I love the look of the lolly bottoms - might have to buy one some time :).
WOOB: Blue Magicall
WOAB: Very pretty Fluffy Bubs
About to attempt my first holiday in cloth, hope it goes ok.
I checked out the GF naps and they look good for under 40. I found a design i like now i'm just waiting on the tax check lol
WOHB terry flat and wool cover (all naps on the line so they are lovely for the holiday)
CW: i have done 2 trips in cloth and both were a success! Just take extra boosters incase the others dont dry in time.
We are moving in just under 4 weeks and wondering what to do. We will have our house packed and moved before we do, so will be staying in a hotel for a few days, then driving to townsville, staying in a hotel a few more days then moving into our house... I dont think we can do cloth cause i have no idea if we will have laundry facilities!! :( all my pretty cloth will be packed, they better take good care of it!!!!!!
Wocb: pink guitar emb B Cheeks.
