Bella - I have some snappis I can send you if you don't have any luck.
I'm glad I only bought one of the GroVia NB nappies, on DD2 they leak after a decent wee! No issues with the Lil Joeys or the Cheeky Butts. Haven't tried using flats yet, although we do have a fair few.
We're about to venture down to the local shops with a fresh MCN!

Hi everyone!!!
Can't wait to be in our own home and back in cloth - hate disposables!!!
i love NB fluff it was awesome using them on jazzy i feel like i missed out not starting on jamie from birth well besides the first few days coz the hospital had cloth it was so easy when out u just had to take a wetbag people that think cloth is hard are just silly and some others ive met are just plain lazy they say 'oh that would take too much time' or even the ones that say it will take heaps of water lol if only they knew
this is a pic of jazzy in a dragonfly magik at 3 weeks old and now at 14 months HERE
I have a big enough stash for bot of us  Come and help yourself! I'll even wash for you :D Bit far though.
I have a load about to finish, ready for moontanning. One thing I've noticed with us using mostly fitteds and flats at the moment is just how much more fits in the nappy bin! Usually it's struggling with 2 days worth, but now I can really pack it in.
WONB: Her daddy got her ready for bed, so my money's on an ex-NerdBurger GF NN.
yeah that Ouiinslano place is kinda far to get to... specially from Eatons Hill :P
I wouldn't drive that far for nappies. But you're totes welcome.
Google maps only says 30 mins if you use the tunnel. Hmmmm....
I just gave away a brand new BBH multifit to my next door neighbour. She wanted to buy one for a friend's daughter, but didn't know where to go, so I gave her the one out of my present cupboard. I just hope it gets used.
WONB: Flat + maz china doll cover.
ok, I finally did it, I ordered some BBH and some itti bittis =D
*excitement*
do you wash them a few times before use?
Yep! you want to wash any fluff off or anything left over from the manufacturing process, plus it takes a few washes (8 +) to get to full absorbency. You don't have to do all 8 washes before using them though, i just use them for shorter periods until they get full absorbency.
getting ready to use newborn fluff again!
oooooooopppppsssssss just had 2 DM's mysteriously fall into my cart and paid for them mummys little princess and daddy's little princess =] i really am addicted and i bought a ruffles nappy for her yesterday oooooopppppsssss
Jazzy only has OSFM except for her petite peony
Teirae : good luck with NB cloth they are so cute on little bubbas

Hey all. This thread seems to have revived itself!
Not much nappy news here. Waiting on a few cgr's but that's about it.
Mostly using secondhand bubblebubs ATM. They weren't working too well as DS only fills up
the front so I've been folding the booster to double up at the front and it seems much better :)
Cheeky Butts NB pockets with one insert seem to be the ticket here. She's a very wet baby - not so full on with the poos though. Guess it could all change!

Last night I chanced it with a BBH night and no cover - it was really hot here, and WIN! No leaks and her rash is looking soooooo much better.
WONB: flat and Totsbots fleece cover - discontinued! Devo'ed!
Hi everyone, never noticed this thread before and thought I'd join in.
I'm having cloth nappy withdrawals  my oldest got an awful rash on the weekend so has been in sposies til it clears up. And our newbie hasn't started his cloth yet, I have some new ones all ready to go plus Moo's smaller sizes...and yesterday I bought another dozen OSFM for them both to share!
Tried a BBH NB MagicAll with insert and it was great! I only have one in NB size, but a few in I think OS.
In other news, my booby monster has put on about 250 gms in her first week, so I don't think we'll be waiting that long to be able to go to the OSFM stash.
WOHB: white Rumparooz Lil Joey until last change of the night.
Successful night with MCNs! I changed her once at 3am (dirty) and she then went through until 8.30am, with a couple of feeds in there. So yay!! I can stop using sposies now. The only NB nappy I don't like is the GroVia. But it may just need a couple more uses to increase it's absorbency.
We went out yesterday and the Cheeky Butts AIO pockets with one booster worked a treat.
Audax - there are still some Totsbots fleece covers available online, but limited sizes and colours.
WOHB: yellow Lil Joey Rumparooz
Update: DP just changed his first MCN. Verdict: easier to use than disposables. ;)
I made a nappy today :D
Not to bad for a first attempt!
Hi all!
I am getting ready to use NB fluff again very soon. :)
My DS is almost completely TT. He still wears a nappy to bed- usually a large BBH Magic-All with 3 inserts. I have 4 of these on rotation.
I have washed all my NB and small MCN's (about 15), a heap of terry flats and 7 small nappy covers. I have 2 snappis. I think I am set! I am not bothering to get the OSFM/OSFA MCN's organised yet as I know they won't fit well for a little while.
